Grandson plays for hours with this thing.Well made.

My son asked for a crane for Christmas, but most of the sets I was finding were plastic and seemed really cheaply made. When I found this wooden set I was so excited! I’m not sure of another wooden Crane that exists. It is a beautiful wooden Crane with a sturdy plastic cab window. It has knobs to control the hook and a platform for loading things on to. It swings around in a complete circle. My son loves to put lego guys in the cab. I have read reviews about it coming apart or not being sturdy and while we haven’t really had that problem in the 4 months we have had it, I can see how rougher play might make that happen. The Crane does come off its base and my son does take it apart on purpose sometimes. And after awhile it sometimes looses and needs to be tightened, but it doesn’t bother me and it doesn’t do it often. Even with this slight issue it still seems sturdy to me and more so than the plastic sets I’ve seen. My son really loves his Crane and he makes whole construction sites around it. It’s also so cute and looks great displayed in his room. Hope this helps!

We bought a new one after he was gifted a well loved one that finally broke. The construction of this crane is really good. My little one was excited to see he got his beloved crane back.

My son keeps busy with this toy for hours. You're able to reel the crane up and down manually. It's really cute, and it's great at stimulating his imagination.I took off two stars because it's poorly built. There's two plastic prongs that keeps it together. The plastic prongs were worn out within the first week. So the crane truck tips over easily.

This review is for the state we received the toy in, not the quality. Our crane just arrived and the 4 black knobs that turn the toy are covered in mold, the spores are visible in the pictures. The box looked fine and none of the other parts appeared to have mold on the crane top portion. I didn’t unwrap anything else as the first thing I saw was the crane top. I have a very disappointed child who was so excited for his toy to come and now to have to send it back is awful.I’m not sure if this is an isolated event but if you purchase, look for mold. Since it’s wood, there is no removing the mold, the spores will be within the wood.
