I did not realize when I purchased this Sega Genesis that was refurbished. But you would never know that it was the cables and controllers seem to mean new but the actual unit is in pristine shape if you did not know better you would think it was brand new and it works great

Complete garbage! I was actually excited to get my sega genesis but should of read the reviews first. All I get is a black screen and nothing else. I should of known when I opened the box and the controllers were generic and the bottom pads were laying in the bottom of the box. I doubt they even tasted it. STEER CLEAR OF THIS SELLER!!

My asked for this for Christmas and apparently he stayed up for days playing all the old games we used to play together.

Great classic childhood game system. Brings back lots of childhood memories during each use!

refurbished my butt! got the first one noticed it had cheap aftermarket controllers but they looked new hooked up to my tv NOTHING would not boot up no signal no sound returned for another this one came with a corroded looking port i could hardly plug the cord into same thing black screen no sound sent it back and gave up asked for a refund. not worth the aggravation thank goodness for the return policy or id be out the $$

Sega works great! Very quick delivery. Only down point is there not so great controllers that came with it. But its what was in picture so thats my fault. My only advice to people who order this in future is to look for a sega with real official sega controllers or better ones then this. Makes a huge diffrence.

This item is used, as advertised. The controllers are horrific. They rarely work and feel like they came from a gumball machine. Seriously, they are made of the worst possible plastic, possibly recycled from a toddler's old chew-toy. The AV cable it came with is also used and the end that goes into the console was broken, so I can only assume it was untested. I already had the proper cable, so no loss there. The console itself is in good condition. It's the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one. Luckily, that's all I was interested in. But, I won't be ordering from this seller again. If you want the console only, then you'll be fine, but if you plan to play on the day you get it, you'd better have spare cables and decent controllers, because you probably won't get them here.
