Use this light daily for mountain bike rides in the winter. Has stood up to all the abuse I've put it through so far. Rain, snow, freezing temps, dust, mud and a few crashes. Still works perfect, maintained brightness and no degradation of battery life

My complaints are the heavy clumsiness of the design. I mean that it sticks very far out from your head more than many others that I have used. The "pivot point ratchet stops" are also a weakness that I expect to break soon. I've had 2 of another brand with this design that broke quickly and that happened to both of them. I will say this is the second best out of many I've had because It is bright and battery life is great. I turn mine off and on during a days work to save battery when not needed and it last all day. The operation is easy without a bunch of useless annoying modes to flip through. I payed $30 which i think is a fair price but not good. I bought it here on amazon for $30 and will not pay more for this product. $30 max so I will watch for another price drop then get another for back-up. I had previously owned a different brand that was better than this one in every way from the big W for $22 so that is what I compare all others to. Now that one is not available anymore. I've tried many others since without satisfaction until now but still $30 max because of the complaints I mentioned above.

Easy to wear bright light that recharges quickly

My wife wanted all the switches and receptacles replaced in our two homes with decorator style white units, replacing the old conventional style cream colored units. I'm 66 years old and have trouble seeing in dark areas. This head lamp was awesome, it allowed me to see well while keeping my hands free. I usually used the medium brightness level and had the lamp angled down somewhat so that it was directly on the switch or receptacle. When turning on, I push the button twice to select medium brightness, when turning off, I press the same button once. The button is large and in the center of the lamp, so easy to operate when on your head. I have used it for several hours, it was comfortable and I have not had to recharge it yet. My only regret is that I didn't have it when I started. I replaced about 70 wall switches and over 80 wall receptacles total. When I started, I was using a magnetic flashlight with angle adjustment, which worked OK, but it was a nuisance to get it lined up well each time. After doing about half the units, it occurred to me to get a head lamp and I was sure glad I did, it made the task much easier.

I used Streamlight products in the fire service and was so impressed with their durability I purchase them for personal use. This light offers three levels of intensity and the beam can be adjusted up or down. Excellent value for the price.

Finally a headlamp that actually works, very bright

Bought it for my son. All my work lights are streamlight and can take a beating so I figured my 6 yo wouldn’t be able to destroy it. So far so good!

I am a long time StreamLight customer and always happy with the product and even more so with the reliability and warranty ease!This particular headlamp is my go to for work, fishing, and just walking at night. The ability to keep a full charge and not worry about the cost of battery usage make it a go to for always ready to use light. Coupled with my StreamLight rechargeable flashlight I am never in need!The only reason all my headlamps aren't this same model are that the others are the StreamLight Double Clutch as we spend long periods of time on beaches and trails with no power and we like the possibility of swapping the battery out for AAA's when we don't want to exhaust battery packs recharging lights. I am speaking only of 3-7 day stays with no power, these are all very efficient lights. Another reason why StreamLight is my go to.Recommended! I hope yours serves you as well as mine do!
