Great device. Cost effective.
I really like this product. I use it in all my wall mounted installs. I like that you can make this thing 3 different sizes depending on need. Very basic product but meets the need of mounting equipment.

A Remarkably Strong and Versatile Rack At An Affordable Price...
This rack is fantastic! I needed only 15 minutes to assemble it. The metal is very robust and of good quality. Once assembled and mounted, the whole rack is quite rigid. I have mine assembled with all the optional rack rails, making it the full 22U, and have lots of heavy gear mounted to it. I can grab a hold of it and give a pretty aggressive shaking and it will not move. The rack comes with two pairs of rails in various lengths. These different sets of rails can be used alone to get the 8U or 14U rack spacing, or they two sets can be combined with the included couplers to make the rack a full 22U.The package comes with 24 mounting screws. Note, however, that these screws do not have washers on them. This can be an issue for some owners/installers as tightening a screw or bolt directly the device without a washer will usually scratch the paint on the device and sometimes dent into the metal of the device making it look "used" when removed.I highly recommend this rack!

Solid Rack for Wall Mounting
The product assembled fairly easily and is solidly made. It comes with rails for expansion; I only needed 12U so I had some parts left over. Seems to be working fine. Had some problems with the tapped holes in the rails - some of the holes needed to be chased to allow the screws to install. This only occurred on one side of the rail set - the other side was perfect. Probably a little overspray or similar issue. No matter though, I used a light-duty hammer drill to set the screws and the final result were great. It's a sturdy product and I expect many years of reliable service.

Decent rack for the price
Pros:CompactUp to 22u of rack space18" deep (My Cisco 2811 fits nicely with about an inch to spare)Very sturdy if built out to 8u or 14uProvided all of the hardware to assemble the rack (You will need your own wall anchors)Each 1u is clearly marked making for fast line up and equipment installs.Cons:Can be flimsy if built out to 22uOverall this is a great buy. I don't think you should plan on loading it out with 75+ pounds of equipment unless you take steps like I did to provide additional support (Added chains to the front of the rack to my ceiling joists). I would have liked to see a third brace that connects to the wall at the expansion joints, this would have given a ton of stability even if it meant losing 1u or 2u of space.

Very nice unit for my home network
Nice unit works great looks good and I love the rotation feature it allows for easy access and cooling. I does require a larger space because of the rotation, but I have it in a small walk-in closet. The template was a little off, I did use it, to get a feel for the overall size, but I predrilled a single hole and attached the arm(s) with a lag screw first (loosely) then I leveled the "A" frame and marked the other drill location through the holes of the frame. I also attached the frame to a piece of half inch plywood I used to span the 24 inch stud spacing. The A frame assumes 16 inch spacing and lags into the studs. It does stick out from the wall farther than I expected even accounting for the ½ inch plywood, but for the home internet its just right. It comes with 24 bolts which I needed... I would have like more . The items I attached to it had bolts but they were the wrong size they did all work fine with the bolts supplied for the rack. I am not sure I would put it exposed due to its size, but it does really look okay. If I was going to expose the rack I think I would go more for the cabinet types either wood or metal.Overall I would recommend it,

Installed to studs this rack is sturdy and stable with very little flexing
UPDATED:Tripp Lite customer service was great and sent a replacement. They package took awhile to arrive, I think backordered. But I'll definitely buy from them in the future.ORIGINAL:Installed to studs this rack is sturdy and stable with very little flexing. Unfortunately the assembly hardware is crap. The "M5 Button Head Cap Screws" were easily stripped with the provided hex key, one of these screws was painted over and unusable, and no spares were provided. The strengthen straps use the 8 "M6 x12mm Philips Screws" but the top portion of the rack was tapped incorrectly and I had to use the "#12-24 Equipment Mounting Screws". Also, no hardware is supplied to mount to the wall; we needed four wood screws and washers.

Sturdy for basic use
I was worried about this rack being able to support the weight of a NAS, UPS, switch, and other equipment. I used heavy lag bolts directly into the studs as well as plywood backer with a few additional bolts ran through it and so far it seems to be holding up well. I specifically selected equipment that was not too heavy, going back and adjusting my requirements several times. What I like about this rack is that when doing my punchdowns and cabling there is enough room (even in a tiny space) to get behind and stand inside of it. I had a very narrow area to work in and feel that this rack is doing well in that space. I would recommend it for basic use in a home or small office, or anywhere with a confined area. Attached are a couple pictures.

Simple and effective rack
Excelent rack for the price. I've had this for over one year, and it's not fully loaded, just a couple of patch panels, two switches and a server. I have it assembled as a 14U, which is enough for me. It does what it's expected to do, hold things up without bending.
