Bulb life varies depending on many factors. Make sure your fan is operating. Make sure there's no water in the unit. Make sure you don't touch bulb with bare hands when installing.

All light bulbs in this pack have gone out on me within less than 2 months each. Horrible value. They aren't even as bright as other w same power values. Hard pass!

I have a Hayward/SuperVision SV25TH Light Tower with Fiber Optic cable for the pool and this light works perfectly, replacing the over $100 bulb that Hayward demands. Having used the bulb now on several occasions, it lights the pool no less beautifully than any other higher priced bulb.
