It goes rawr!
A great dinosaur product from a line that continues to impress. It's nice to see toys being made of less well known species. Both kids and adults would benefit from expanding their knowledge. It's a shame there aren't more of these available. Reseller/ scalpers charging ridiculously high prices are stealing playtime and education from children. All in all it's well made, has a nice paint job, and the growls work perfectly.

AMAZING!!!
This sound strike is amazing. The only problem though is it sounds kind of the a carnivore. The video for this guy is incorrect his sounds are not the ones in the video that amazon attached to this guy.

Great herbivorous dinosaur figure
It was a great purchase, the figure and the box came intact. The Edmontosaurus figure has a nice sculpt and the sound strike gimmick works fine.

A few extra toes, but still beautiful.
2020 Mattel Jurassic World Primal Attack “Sound Strike” Edmontosaurus I have been looking forward to this release by Mattel since the Primal Attack figures were announced at ComicCon last year. Finally having it in hand, I have to say that I’m slightly disappointed. The overall sculpt is really nice. The proportions look good, although it’s not really accurately sized. It really should have been much bigger. I think making it a “Massive Biter” would have been a better execution, but I can forgive it. The sculptural detail is the standard Mattel high quality. The body is covered in wrinkles, folds of skin, and crosshatching. There aren’t really any scales other than on the feet. This is a bit unfortunate, because there are excellent Edmontosaurus skin impressions, so we know they were scaly. The crest looks great, and is one area of surprising scientific accuracy. The crest on Edmontosaurus is a relatively new discovery. It hasn’t even quite reached common knowledge status amongst dinosaur enthusiasts, so I’m pleased to see in included here. The front feet are the first problem I have with it. New discoveries show that Edmontosaurus had one big hoof-like nail on the front foot, and that the toes were bundled together to create one large pad. Mattel designer this figure well before this was announced to the public, so this oversight is completely forgiven. However, they sculpted it with five visible toes, and that was definitely not accurate even before the new study. The other major (and far more obvious) point of annoyance is, again, due to the number of toes. This time on the back feet. The back feet have been sculpted with a baffling fourth toe. I’m not usually one to complain about inaccurate Jurassic World/Park figures, but these are such befuddling mistakes that they deserve to be pointed out. I will say that the feet are an improvement over the Parasaurolophus in one small way: they no longer look like the foot of a theropod. I’ve heard others complain about the paint scheme, but I actually really like it. It’s eye catching, but also seems believable enough. I would have liked to have seen some striping on the hind legs, or maybe have them colored the same as the front, but it looks good as is. I especially love the head. It has a very parrot-like coloration that fits the sculpt well. I really like the striping on the blue as well. It is, again, very naturalistic. The contrasting colors of the face and crest are very pleasing too. My only complaints in the paint department are that one of the eyes on mine is very poorly placed, and the claws, while painted, are left unpainted on the bottoms. This isn’t a big deal, as you normally don’t see the bottoms, but it’s just a bit lazy. The poor eye placement continues to be a frustrating quality control issue with the Jurassic World figures, and I hope it is resolved one day. Articulations are the standard. Legs move forward and back. The back legs can move outward slightly, and the front limbs can be fully extended outward. The head can move up and down, and can be turned slightly as well. The rest of the articulations are tied to the gimmick. The gimmick is the same as most of the new Primal attack “Sound Strike” figures. Move the tail to maneuver the head in the corresponding direction while the animal roars. Unlike the other figures, however, this one has a stronger action. The other “Sound Strike” figures tend to flop around, and roar with the slightest movement. The Edmontosaurus is a great improvement, and I hope the rest of the line is more like this one. That said, the roars are a bit disappointing. They don’t fit the animal at all, but at least they aren’t T-Rex roars. The Jurassic World “Sound Strike” Edmontosaurus is a bizarre mix of some surprising accuracies, and other baffling inaccuracies. Even with the flaws, it’s still a welcome addition to the line. Ornithopods are sorely underrepresented in the toy world. Kudos to Mattel for producing the species. If you can overlook a lack of scales, and some extra toes, there’s still a lot to love here.

Fast shipping
Came new and in perfect working condition, even packaging was kept in tact. Fast shipping and receipt. Weird how Jurassic World though gave him a carnivore type loud roar same sound as their Cryolophosaurus. Not a fan of that but still great quality.

Overlooked herbivore finally gets a figure.
Mattel is really rounding out the dinosaur species by including the essential but overlooked hadrosaur. Featured in the novels but over looked in the films this contemporary and preferred prey of the mighty T Rex will look great on you Dino shelf with its contrasting blue face and crest. Features sound and puppeteer gimmicks via the tail control young ones will engage in countless hours of outrunning the tyrant lizard king.

Excelente pieza
