If you are new to the kamado grills this is a necessary book to get the most use from an amazing cooking tool. In addition to some excellent recipes that use all the different techniques this grill is capable of, the first few chapters are dedicated to the basics like getting the fire started, different kinds of fuel, how to use vents to control heat, which vent to use and when. You will have a good fire in about 15 min and ready to cook. He made using kamado joe almost as easy as using kitchen stove. Wow is all i can say. After watching all the videos i could find ... this little book made out understandable and easy. I am contacting company and store i purchased grill from to suggest this is supplied with every grill.

Wish there were picture illustrations. Good recipes though.
