Good quality and fair price.

I have a fairly large tool set, but then I noticed I did not have locking pliers. And I needed it for a stuck fitting on a faucet. I decide to not buy the "name" brand version but to see if I could find a set that met my needs.These pliers all appear to be well-built. I was able to remove the stuck fitting without any problem. The pliers gripped the fitting well, and they pliers had a satisfying click when I locked them. I played around with all of the sizes, and I found them to have a good fit and finish, matching anything from the brand names.Of course, maybe these will fail after a few years of use, but I don't think so. Everything seems to be made of high-quality parts.I give these pliers my highest recommendation.

A nice variety of sizes and decent studyness. No as good as American made tools by any stretch, but okay for light-duty use.

The rubber handles fall off. And the teeth have worn out. Not worth buying if you use them a lot.

Works great

This set of locking pliers (vise grips) seem to be of good quality and will work just fine. I gave three stars because the non-slip grips slide right off, (even when the little tabs are locked behind the bar thats supposed to hold them in place),strait out of the box. This will be a problem while using them. I don’t know what to do about it and I doubt that super glue is ever going to seal them on good enough to stay on while grabbing a bolt or nut and clamping down on it. Mechanically they are fine. I’ll probably just throw the grippy parts in the toolbox. Too bad, sometimes you need that grip to really get a tight clamp on things you’re working on.

That's just a personal preference about the plastic grips. Some people love them, I can take them or leave them. If they come off I'll likely leave them off - although I notice they do make it less likely that I'll pinch my palm, so there's that. The pliers themselves are of good quality - no loose pin hinges on these, everything is tight but not too tight. The set was worth it for the long nose model that allowed me to get a very awkward, non standard nut removed from a vintage sewing machine, but I'm happy I have the entire set.
