YES! these DO keep their seal in the freezer!
These, work perfectly if you remember to do a few simple things:1. Wrap moist food lightly in plastic wrap, cling wrap or press N seal. If freezing, freeze liquids like sauces in flat containers (like lock n lock), remove when frozen and wrap, or place into a regular zip bag with the zipper cut off, then put into the foodsaver bag. This enables you to reuse the foodsaver bag later.2. Press some of the air out of the bag. Press the zip strip firmly on a hard surface two or three times. Use the back of a butter knife or spoon to ensure the bag is tightly sealed.3. Place the sealer firmly over the vacuum hole. Start the vacuum process and twist/wiggle the sealer a tiny bit to ensure a good seal. For added security, place a small piece of freezer tape over the hole. The manufacturer said these bags were "not recommended" for the freezer because they "might" not hold the seal. I tested this... THEY DO HOLD, if you seal them correctly. I make portions of meats and cheese for sandwiches, fruit, vegetables, and other items and wanted to be able to remove a portion and reseal the bag and return it to the freezer. These re-sealable bags are perfect for that.Remember though, for use in freezer or refrigerator, you must blanch vegetables before sealing. Especially broccoli which gives off gasses when sealed fresh, Read the manual ( I know, I usually don't either) but this manual has important information and no one wants to take a chance and either waste food or worse, get sick. To freeze fruits, wash, dry, peel, slice and freeze on cookie sheets first. Place in zipper bag then into the foodsaver bag. Take out what you need and reseal. For long term storage use the regular foodsaver bags or rolls.Obviously these are terrific for non freezer and non refrigerator storage too. All your pantry items will stay fresh seemingly forever.Like me, you will wonder how you ever lived without this system and these bags.

Awesome
I use these with the hand vacuum instead of the big machine and one it’s so much cheaper then buying a big machine and 2 it works great! You can reuse the bags it you need and you can open them re-seal, open and re-seal and so forth. Also if you use this to vacuum seal the things that I do it doesn’t brick your product. Those who do what I do know what I mean. It keeps it in the natural state doesn’t compact it all to hell and lose beauty of your crop

Compatible w/ Zwilling Vacuum Sealer
If you have a Zwilling "Fresh and Save" vacuum sealer and find Zwilling bags are too expensive, yes, these actually will work with the Zwilling vacuum pump. These bags aren't exactly cheap, but compared to the Zwilling it is a better value as I don't see being able to reuse the bags for anything that isn't like dry storage, veggies or frozen food (bagged veggies, fries, sausages, etc.). Marinated or wet foods you'll most likely use a container, so the expensive Zwilling bags are probably overkill and waste of money. The Food Saver bags use a pretty simple "sticky plastic" seal which works. After a couple of reuses, it tends to lose some stickiness and fall off, but I guess if you find it and put it back it should work again. So yeah, the bags aren't made for longevity. You'll also have to be careful about sealing bags w/ liquid as it will pull thru the seal if you aren't paying attention. The Zwilling I use can suck in the liquid and that is known to break the machine...not sure if it is easy to get into it either to clean up any marinade or juices it might ingest.

Food saver so money saver
I have fallen in love with these bags as they keep my food fresh even when I decide not to cook for the day but have already defrosted my meat. I am also glad that you can write on the bag to remember what it is and when it was packed to freeze. I will keep buying them!

Very Tight Seal
Great replacement for ordinary zip lock bags. Construction allows for cleaning and reusing without the bag breaking down.
