Great watch
I am using this type of watch since decades and I haven't found a better one. I was a Teenager when I bought the first one and now I am almost 40 and I still got the DBC-150 in my (right) wrist (upside down ;). It's great to store urgent phone numbers which you need when your cell phone is lost, broken, stolen or not functioning. Also you can put in Credit card pin numbers and you can be sure nobody is hacking your watch. I also use it as tea timer since you can set a countdown to a certain time and then the alarm goes off.The blue light helps you to find your way in deepest darkness and it's looking pretty cool.I am wearing it night and day, for swimming and allmost all other activities. It's robust and long lasting and only after a few years the paint inside the numbers starts getting off in areas which are under frequent pressure. Then it's time for a new one.For sure it's not a watch for everyone but I would't want to trade it in for any other one. There's only one area of improvement which is already mentioned by others. The number of digits you can type in are pretty limited. An increase would be really helpful.Sad to see it's not on sale at the moment but if you are in urgent need I found another retailer in Australia:[...]Enjoy wearing it!

514% PRICE HIKE??
I have had purchased this databank 150-1 watch multiple times over the two decades - whenever they wore out from day-to-day elements. Primarily, for reason of "VERY CHEAP PLASTIC / MATERIALS; in addition that these BUTTONS WEARS DOWN FLAT FROM LIGHT USES TOO. " As well as, the wrist straps, breaks on the averages of 2 to 3 years. Of course, it IS NOT Waterproof, and Military-Grade materials for the new price hike of 514% .The initial price range for this model WAS from $35 to $40. NOW this SELLER HERE, HAVE UPPED THIS PRICE to $215.00!! .

Casio Databank Digital Watch
This watch is a fantastic watch to use. Easy to use and the price is about right. Casio Men's Databank Digital Watch #DBC150-1I've had two others of these over the past twenty years perhaps and of course they wore out like any other watch. Then I couldn't find one of these and finally settled on a more expensive Casio e-Data bank with a very different set of keys. Supposed to hold 350 phone numbers and is a calculator, etc. But user friendly it was not! A real pain in the neck with no keys for + - x or ÷ .That watch finally wore out and I was so glad to find this model again. It is a joy of ease. However I would like to see this same model in a metalic finish with a nice expandable wristband.I'm very satisfied and the watch was shipped very rapidly.Thanks.

Still hasn't been improved upon
I've been using this model since it first appeared, and have owned at least 5 of them. Calculator watches are no longer as common or popular as they once were, and for those that like gadgets, this one had almost everything - in particular a memory and schedule databank that stored 150 entries. They came out with several models with these features, including a silver one that looked like metal, but was in fact plastic, but this model was the most functional and durable. Unfortunately the watch will outlive the watchband, and it is now very difficult to find a replacement (I bought 2 off Ebay the last time mine broke, so that I still have a spare). Casio watches are generally disposable and after you go through 2 or 3 watchbands, one or more buttons will start to fail - particularly after a battery change (2 year life - and many jewellers won't touch Casio, but its easy to do yourself and a lot cheaper), and you'll have to hunt for another one.Casio kept adding features to their calculator watches when they first came out. However they never seemed to successfully add to this model. It's attempted replacement, with a touch screen and memory for emails, no longer had the very useful schedule function/alarm (just a couple of different alarms with no record of their significance), and once the touch screen started malfunctioning (which isn't long) the watch was useless. Linked to an atomic clock and a universal remote were the only other variations, but again they added those features while removing useful ones that this model had.I'd love to see Casio add a universal remote to the features of this watch. However until then, I will continue to buy this model as long as it is available. It may need replacing every 5 years or so, but I've yet to find another watch as useful. Incidentally stick to the Telememo 150, instead of the Telememo 30, the extra memory is more than worth the extra money.

Good price
I have owned this model for several years and am on my 3rd watch. I especially use the calendar scheduling mode to help me remember meetings. The other watches quit after 3 or 4 years. I had given up purchasing the same model because of the price increase. Since I wanted the scheduling mode, I was not interested in any of the models. This model was no longer available at the local department stores and the price at Casio on line was more than I was willing to pay. When I found it on Amazon, it was within my price range. I do find that the numbers and letters begin to wear off after a while, but not enough to make it impossible to read.

Excellent communication throughout the order process. Product is perfect.
With the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.
Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward.
