I purchased this because had a massive problem with my thumb. I made sure I got the right size. The thumb support does not go up as far as the thumb knuckle. It, therefore, does not hold the thumb straight which sort of defeats the object and it was not very comfortable.Amazon took it back and in return, I bought the Thumb Spica Splint. Perfect and support goes all the way to the top of the tumb. Is more lightweight and better designed.This is only my opinion as a buyer, not a professional opinion.

For a number of years I’ve suffered from an RSI injury in the base joint of my right thumb. Lately the pain had become excruciating, near constant & was beginning to interfere with doing simple tasks so I finally decided to try and do something about it. I had my doubts about this, especially given its cheap price, but…what a transformation! Within minutes of strapping it on I was pain free for the first time in years. And stay so so long as it’s on. Even when I remove it, I’ve noticed a sharp decrease in the amount of pain after just 24 hours of wearing it. Why didn’t I do this years ago! Can’t recommend highly enough. And for just £6, you really can’t get a better deal. (I swear I don’t own the company. LOL)

It's a good make but after getting it over thumb there is a velcro peice which no need for it does nothing .and when u try to pull the hand peice down to cover the hand it sits slanted and way to tight around the hand section which made my fingers swell. Then the 2 wrist straps go round the wrist but I only needs 1. And because the hand cover sits slanted the wrist straps cover hand material and then it dosnt hold right or feel comfortable. Not enough room around thumb joint . But good materials used shame cant wear.

I wasn’t sure if this would meet my expectations due to price, however I found it did suit my needs nicely. My thumb fitted in the holder perfectly as some others my thumb was to short and just fell out!!! It’s not too bulky as you can still use your hand. The only little niggle I had was that there wasn’t any instructions as to how to affix the Velcro straps!! I figured it out myself and now I am using it everyday!

Great product for good price. I brought this for my thumb/wrist as it was starting to hurt a little due to repetitive straining. The material is off nice quality and I haven’t had any issues with it irritating my skin. The two velcro’s enables you to tighten well allowing good support. I will agree with other reviews that say the thumb hole is a little small but that didn’t affect me as I have small fingers but I can see why others may have a problem but as other people have said snipping it with some scissors to make the hole bigger would sort that problem out easily.

The thumb hole was extremely small - very difficult to get on and took another person to help me get it off. It quickly causes lack of circulation in the thumb - solved by unpicking the stitches in a seam. The Velcro tab can then operate to hold the support at the right size, otherwise the Velcro tab serves no purpose. Poor design in this area. Otherwise it is okay.

Arthritic pain at the base of thumb. This support is incredible value for money. I have large hands and the thumb opening is far too small but I just made the opening larger with a pair of scissors until it was comfortable. Ok not ideal, but considering the price an easy solution. I like the wrist supports, very easy to adjust for comfort. This deals with the pain easily and cheaply.
