Good 18AWG 600V PTFE Wire for Antennas
I was very interested to checkout this antenna wire as technical details are scarce on the listing. The conductor is 19 strands of tinned copper wire. I measured the resulting conductor at 1.1mm and the OD of the insulation at 1.6mm. This lines up with 18AWG and an insulation thickness of about 0.01" - standard for 600V rated teflon/PTFE wire. The Teflon/PTFE jacket is slightly glossy and is similar to other PTFE insulated wire I have worked with in the past. It disappears into the backdrop once installed. At the current cost of $40 (with free shipping) for 135ft this works out to $0.30 a foot. A good deal.I am happy with it so far. Now we just have to make sure the insulation holds up to UV.

Love this wire for low-visibility wire antennas
I bought a pack of this wire with the intention of building two nested vertical full-wave delta loops for 20 meters and 15 meters, in my tiny back yard and using the same 30-foot fiberglass center pole. There was more than enough for both loop antennas each fed a short way up one vertical side.It is barely visible, making the central pole appear like a lightweight flagpole to the neighborhood. Each loop performs well with excellent matching to 75 ohm coax with a ferrite line isolator and each easily tolerates 100 watts fed into it. Makes global FT8 contacts easy, mostly on 10 watts from a G90. Love this wire!

Works great as a portable antenna
Bought this to make an EFLW HF antenna for POTA & I'm very pleased. It is indeed end-fed, and long, in addition to being wire. I teamed it up with a 9:1 UNUN & a wire winder. Used some pvc conduit I cut into 1/4" rings for insulators, & I chuck it it a tree to talk to strangers in strange places, from equally strange places. If your plan is to do the same, be sure to get a large enough wire winder. Once it's all wrapped up for storage it gets bulky. Can easily handle my 20watt output, I think it will handle 100w as well if needed. I'd try it out but my yard's not as long as this wire, so it'd be kinda goofy.Good luck, happy pota hunting or field-daying, or just trekking about & deciding to play radio.

Wire. Works as an antenna.
Radio frequencies can get into this wire and travel along into my radio where I use it most often.

Great Replacement for Chamelon Emcom IIIB Wire
I have the Chamelon Emcom IIIB antenna. A few months ago, the wire got damaged up in the tree and I had to replace it. This was about a 1/3 the price of the wire from Chameleon but works exactly the same. I have worked the world with this wire on SSB and digital modes. It is a bit thinner than the Chameleon wire and I do not believe it has the kevlar gimmick in it, but it works every bit as good. I just ordered a second one to keep spooled for camping. With a 5:1 balun and 130' of this wire I can work 80m-10m without a problem on any band. This is a great replacement.

Perfect Customer Service
After having some issues with the Antenna wire, I contacted the seller and was offered a replacement. The replacement arrived in a very timely manner and was kept updated by seller.I would Recommend this Antenna wire for anyone looking to get on 80 meters and up.The precut length of 135' makes it almost a perfect match on all bands.
