didn't realize these get trimmed down once the floor is installed
Our house is being remodeled and our contractor told us to buy some in-ground boxes for the floor outlets we wanted. When I first saw these I was worried because they are really deep. But then I learned from our contractor that they are designed that way so that once the flooring goes in around it, they can be trimmed down for a perfect fit. You learn something new every day!

Make sure you have room for it in the slab height you are pouring
At first thought it was going to be to high and would create a problem installing and trying to get a new level concrete slab poured, but the height was just right. If it had been any higher it would have been a problem.
