Go for this.
Buy it. This hold up great on a burner or straight on the fire. The hand guards are plastic.😕 That's about the worst I have to say about these. The coffee pot is good for about two cups of coffee and or tea, ( whatever you hot drink of choice). The medium pot is a bit more than 2 cups and the large pot about 5 cups.

DECENT MESS KIT
Of course, items are miniature, but that's the point. The description states it can be used for up to three people but I don't see it. Perhaps two, but if we're talking full-grown men or growing adolescent boys, you'd need something going in both the pot and pan, so plan on a method of cooking beyond just a single-burner cook stove. There are no plates and eating utensils for one, so pack extra. I am forever frustrated by how inadequate technical writing on the ad/description is. Here's what comes in the box:1 x mesh storage bag to hold all items1 x fabric bag for eating utensils1 x 6.8” x 3.9” pot w/folding handle & lid (lid also fits frying pan)1 x 7.1” x 1.77” frying pan w/folding handle1 x 27 oz kettle w/folding handle and lid3 x plastic bowls1 x knife (folding)1 x fork (folding)1 x spoon (folding)1 x wood spatula1 x loofah slice1 x carbinerHandles include heat-proof rubber covers.

Great kit
Got this for a camping trip.Light weight. Portable. Organized.Easy to clean. Food cooked evenly.Cooked both on a gas burner and another time over open fire pit. It held up and the plastic insulation on the handles did not melt!!We prepared food for 4 people easily.I would highly recommend

Compact, light weight, easy to carry and clean, but everything is a bit too small
A good amount of useful items in one. Pretty much all you need as far as cooking hardware for a camping trip. The best part is that they all fit into one like a Russian nesting doll. super compact, lightweight, and easy to clean and carry.Cons:The "bowls" to eat with are ridiculously small and useless.Doesn't come with a sharp cooking knife, just a dull butter knife. While I appreciate how compact everything is, it's really just a bit too small

Just so-so
This is just ok. The pans and kettle are good, with a couple quirks. The other items that came with it are so-so. I primarily car camp but still like compact gear.so I don't have to lug around a bunch of full size pans and such, and it's nice to have light gear if I decide to backpack. My take on this is that it is meant for 1 person if you're backpacking and using all the accessories that come with it. You'd be mad if you had to make all this work for 2-3 people with no extras from outside the kit.The good: this is a lightweight set that has a mesh case to carry it all. The kettle is good for 2 small cups of coffee, the pans cook food for 2 people, maybe 3. Any more than that you'll want to cook in batches, they're quite small. The bamboo spoon is pretty cool, and it's nice to have a little loofah sponge to clean it out.The ok: most of the stuff that comes with it, the accessories are just ok. The ladel is strange but useable. The fold-up flatware would be fine if I was backpacking, but car camping and cooking for more than 1 I'd bring other flatware. I will probably never use the flint striker ever, but I did at least get some sparks off it so it does work. Also this isn't non-stick, which is fine since camping gear tends to get beat up and scratched, Teflon wouldn't survive anyway. But you'll need some kind of oil to cook with. The bad: the kettle handle is covered in silicone (or plastic?) but it's not fire safe. So you'll have to watch it carefully on a fire grate or alcohol burner. I probably wouldn't want to cook with this set directly on hot coals, though you probably could. The handles seem sturdy in terms of staying on the pans and lifting. But I wish they snapped into place when fully open or closed. On each pan one handle swings freely and the other is pretty stiff and stays where you put it. And last, when the set arrived it wasn't packed in so the pan and lid enclosing everything else. The lid was resting on the plastic bowls, slightly off the pan which allows dirt to get in while you're hiking. I have not yet found a way to get the bowls in there so the lid will close, to the point I've decided they probably don't actually fit that way (the picture shows the closest I could get it to closing. I looked online for a how-to or instructions but no luck). I definitely dislike that, every other mess kit I've had closed completely to keep them clean while hiking through brush or dirt or sand, but this one doesn't seem to close all the way.Bottom line on this is that I will probably keep it because it's ok for how I camp, but I wouldn't automatically recommend it to a friend.

Compact and durable
Took this camping to the redwoods for a week. It was just my wife and I and we cooked each morning and night. Eggs in the morning with add-ins to make it yummy. Chili one night for Chili dogs. And coffee each morning....ITS A MUST! the kettle worked perfect for this. All said and done, nothing stuck to anything and nothing got scratched up. Great set for 1-2 people.

Missing a screw
Good little set for the price. A screw was missing so I couldn’t attach the handle to the pot lid. Excluding that, it’s a good set for camping. It comes with the necessary items and doesn’t take up too much space.
