Amazing Goof-Proof Outdoor Wood Stain!
This stuff is amazing. I have never stained wood before believe it or not, and I have no experience using a product like this before and I am thoroughly impressed with the outcome!I did a lot of research on different wood stains and sealers and I finally landed on this one based on the reviews. I recently had a new redwood fence installed (22 feet long, 6 feet high) and was looking for something to darken it up a bit as well as protect it. I decided to go with a semi-translucent oil-based stain and this one did not disappoint!I've included both a before photo and an after photo. I did two coats about 24 hours apart using a paint sprayer I also bought on Amazon (YATTICH Paint Sprayer is the one I bought) and it worked amazingly well. I purchased two gallons but the whole fence (22ft long x 6ft tall) coated twice took exactly one gallon so I will be returning the second gallon. Using the paint sprayer (and a 4-inch brush for back-brushing), the application of the first coat took about an hour and a half, and then the second coat took about an hour.It looks even better in person, these photos don't do it justice. I did back brush it, but honestly, it didn't seem to be running and went on incredibly evenly. Can't speak to the longevity of this product, but it looks amazing right now!

Seals wood well while giving it a tone
It enhanced and reddened the tone of the wooden plants on my balcony, it rains hard, snows hard, wood should of rotted by now but it didn't, product does it's job.

Settled back to fast
After mixing up well, and coming back to it about 15 minutes later, you would stink it was still mixed. Was wondering why it was so thin and barely had color until i got up the middle and it started up get thick and i realized all of the redwood coloring had sunk back to the bottom even though I shook it before reopening it after mixing. You would think it would stay mixed. Which caused it to be oily and slippery almost causing my 95yr old mother injury but i watched it off with warm soapy water and rinsed with hose and it was fine. Except the rails and handles are light and the buttom is darker. I'll be getting some from Lowe's to do a second coat. But it was easy to use and a pretty color other than that. I guess it was partly my fault though.

MAKE SURE YOU MIX WELL
This stain is excellent. Don't be fooled like I was. I had written a negative review because the stain was coming out nothing like the pictures. And my wood fence was hardly looking stained at all. Turns out, you have to mix the heck out of this. I thought just leaving the can upside down for a day and then shaking it well before pouring would get the job done as far as mixing. Absolutely not. You have to pour some of the contents into another container, then shake the remaining stain in the can well. Transfer the contents of the container back into the can, shake, and repeat the process a couple of times to really get a good mix in. Otherwise, you'll get hardly any color. I ended up having to restain a few parts of my fence over again which was a pain. But once mixed, it stays mixed pretty well. I just for precaution shook the can each time before I poured more for use. The consistency seems rich. And the stain goes on with ease and takes time to soak in. And the color is absolutely fantastic.I've never stained anything before, and my large fence was my first time doing so. It was a lot of work, but it looks darn good. I'd definitely recommend buying some type of stain sprayer for larger projects. I used the Wagner on Amazon for $85. Works well enough.

Beautiful Stain! No Muss, No Fuss. From Start to Finish. It was a Beautiful Experience from Start to Finish! This was my 1st experience using a Stain & I was "Shocked at the Ease of Use, The results as well as how well it worked even in cooler temperatures. The stained pulled out All the Character of the Wood, and it was the Easiest experience I have had working on a Outdoor Project! I guess when you pair the right products together it is "A win".

Wears off quickly. Don’t buy.
I do not recommend. I am really unhappy with the results and the product. While using, I had to stir constantly to keep the color in the stain mixed evenly. 2 months later and it is badly faded and seems to have no shine or water protection. I used 4 gallons on approx 400 sq feet of deck with railings. I applied it in April to a power washed deck with 6 year old boards. live in Illinois where the weather has been reasonable. There is no reason for it to basically be like I never even applied the product.

Taking more than expected to dry out under hot weather
It's been more than a week and a half and this still doesn't dry out. I have 3 fans blowing air 24/7, the temperatures in south Florida this past week have been around 95 to 101f, and still it doesn't fully cure. Make sure to have that in mind. Also, the pigment settles down pretty quick so you have to make sure to keep shaking/mixing when applying it.
