My 7-year old granddaughter and I had a fun time cooking together when I visited. The recipes are easy to follow and delicious. I live alone and don’t make complicated meals for myself, so when I returned home I ordered a second book for myself. 🙂

A nice book. I didn't even look at it at first because of the UPSIDE DOWN picture of a boy with his eyes closed???? on the cover. So off putting, especially since this was meant for my granddaughter. I raised 3 boys, so it's not that I object to boys in the kitchen, believe me, one of my sons enjoyed cooking and still does. My father is a great chef. Both are engineers. But the visual emphasis of boys in this book struck me a little bit as part of the new social agenda, "boys with dolls, boys with strollers, boys with playhouses" etc. etc. Nevertheless, after reviewing other kids cookbooks, I went back to this one to look at customer images inside and recipes. I like the snapshots of the baking process and finished products, but I don't like that the ingredient list is on a separate page. I'll probably have to copy it separately. Nice photography and useful. So I bought it. I still hate the cover. The upside down orientation and the closed eyes of the kid jars me to bits. I might do some graphic design of my own and paste a better cover on it.

We have an aspiring chef, so this cookbook will help him along. Easy for him to follow the directions

My 5 year old loves this book! He loves to plan what he can make!! I like it as well

Bought this for my grand daughter who is 7. She was able to read most of the recipes and directions. She cooked her very first breakfast for the family

My kid loves this book but the recipes we tried so far have been kind of bland. I love the picture instructions but I don’t love that the ingredients are listed a page back and you have to constantly turn the page back to check for amounts. Not ideal when cooking with little kids with messy hands. Would be better if they repeated the measurements in the instructions.

Bought as a gift for a 6 year old...she had it opened and making things the first day! Her mother is as happy as well! Good value!

What a nice variety of recipes for kids to learn with especially considering the ingredients being used are all very easy to find.
