Fit an 8" 30 year old Hamilton manufactured ceiling fan perfectly
The bowl itself turned out a little smaller than expected, and certainly smaller than the (broken) original, but it fits over the bulb so all is good!

Great globe
Ordered it with some doubt that it would fit the fan, once it arrived, it was a perfect fit, smaller than I imagined, but nonetheless a perfect replacement for the fan.

Doesn't not fit my 10 year old Hunter fan; the globe is smaller than the description.

Not quite as big as the broken globe it replaces, but a better quality globe
This is a replacement globe for my in-laws' Hunter ceiling fan in their bedroom. As you can see, the one on the right is the cracked unit being replaced, and the genuine Hunter globe is on the left. I do NOT know if the broken one is genuine Hunter; but it's a thinner, more flimsy globe with uneven coating...I suspect it is an aftermarket part that my now-deceased FIL replaced on the cheap. Anyways, though the replacement on the left is a bit smaller in outside diameter, it not only fits right but is a more substantial piece of glass. I'll take that. The smaller globe actually looks better in this installation...and again, it's a substantially higher-quality part.

The original randomly fell down one day. This was a great replacement. It was affordable & was packaged well!

Good Fit
This fit well on my Hunter fan. It is not quite the same shape and finish but it will do. I was glad that I could find a reasonably priced replacement.
