Super duper cute, and awesome how well everything packs up neat and compact. Full game play + the rules and cards to play with just 2 players! So easy to set up and take down. Saves so much time and energy over the full game, and might be the easiest way to get newbies to join the Catan cult. Can't get over how cute this is. Now to what others have said, yes the cards are small, so if you have poor vision or hand coordination, this is not for you. And yes, the drawers do take a little finesse to open & close, but a little wiggle and patience is all you need. The pros far outweigh the cons for me.

Rather new to the Catan world and thoroughly enjoy it! I take this bad boy with me to my local watering hole and play with friends. Other customers come by and remark on how cool the set up is. The pegs make it great and easy to use and hold your pieces on the board. If you enjoy Catan and don't want to carry a big box around, this is for you.

Bought this for an out of country trip for about 1 month. I knew I would be with a large tour group most of the time and there would be a lot of travel (buses, planes, hotels, etc). Really enjoyed and got my money's worth out of this little set; Everything stores nicely in the drawers under the game board, although sometimes it is hard to get everything back in.Everything stays in place nicely and turns or bumps on the road do not jostle the pieces; The only non-pegged piece is the robber.The only thing I wish was a bit different would be the variability of the board; Multiple game pieces allow for multiple variations, but not complete randomization like the base game. A small price to pay for such a great compact and well designed set.I would definitely recommend this product if you are a fan of Catan and will be on the go.

My partner and I play this game nearly every night - we travel full-time and this lunchbox sized CATAN fits perfectly in our small camper.PROS:- Actually prefer the setup to the full-sized game- Dice container is brilliant...no dice flying off the table!- Packs fully away back into its lunchbox sized containers- Small and easy to store- The best game ever createdCONS- Cards are tiny and print is small...we don't mind, but a bit hard to play on this smaller board with our older parents- Not a great replacement for the full-sized game if you have the space- Cannot play with extension packsIf you camp, travel, or live in a tiny apartment...this version of CATAN is a must have!

My cousin brought the original one for play date and my daughter loved.I bought this traveling size for my daughter’s Christmas gift cause price was good and previous reviews were great.I really like this traveling version better then original version.So cute and good quality.

I love Catan, and this version, though not nearly as modular in terms of moving around parts from the base game (there are only 6 pieces to the board with 2 sides, and you can only use one side or the other), is excellent for playing the game on the airplane, train, or car. Pieces are a little small, but they fit easily into the compartments built underneath the board. Just be careful not to lose anything, like the TINY TINY city/settlement/road pieces!

Neat little package for a travel version of the Catan game. This is the first time our family has tried this game. The package design is good. The only thing that was difficult were the individual trays that come out of the game board. They stick and are hard to push back into place. Some of the drawers on this game have stuck permanently. This could be a design flaw or just a defect in this one game piece.The instructions are a bit of a learning curve for a newbie. I would suggest going online to the Catan maker's site to get more info and/or download their app that gives a whole lot more instruction. After playing it several times, it gets easier to understand. The cards are so "tiny" that if you are an optically challenged person like I am, you almost have to have a magnifying glass to read. The "younger" members of our family have no trouble reading the tiny cards :-)Overall I would recommend this game for tweens to adult. It's challenging and looks like it is an intelligent and rewarding game.
