Did This on a 13 BRZ and it Turned Out Amazing!
Wow, this paint is really awesome after all is said and done. I just finished painting, and am still letting it cure overnight.A couple of things to point out and add:-For me, this was an all day event (from 8:00am-9:00pm)-Paint Amount: Initially when opening the paint, I was hesitant with the amount of paint as it did look like there was not enough (others have stated something similar). However, after finishing, there was more than enough to cover all 4 of my calipers (3 solid coats and one touch-up coat) on a 2013 BRZ, AND I still had about 2 fl. oz. of the paint left over from the initial level.Prepping: I used brake cleaner and a power washer for the initial prepping. I soaked each caliper in brake cleaner, let it sit, and then sprayed it with the power washer to get everything off. If you are only going to use the brake cleaner, go get a metal wire brush to get all the dust and rust off. Prepping is an extremely important step for the longevity of the paint staying on, so make sure to prep accordingly.Paint Brushes: Before doing this project, I went to Home Depot to buy a 1/2" paint brush and an art store for a detail brush (see picture for more clarification). This was a must because the paint brush that they sent is absolute crap. I tried it to satisfy my own curiosity, and the bristles fell out and got all over my first caliper. The 1/2" brush really helped to get the bulk of it, and the detail brush.... detailed. **Do not skimp out! I suggest to do as I did and go get a pair of **really good** paint brushes.**My process for painting: I started on the first caliper, went to the second, third, fourth, and immediately returned to the first. By then, it was dry enough to put the second coat on. Between each caliper jump, I continued to stir the paint in the can with the stir stick they provided. I don't know if that helps, but it gives me a peace of mind in thinking that it does. After putting 4 coats on, I let it sit for a good 9 hours before applying 2 coats of VHT Clear coat, then let(ing) it cure for the night. It has only been an hour since i have finished, but the end result looks amazing. I cannot say on how well it holds up yet, but hopefully will update within a few months.Over-all, best $45.00 i have spent to make my car look more aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommend.UPDATE (11/18/2015): Paint still looks beautiful! Every month or so I spray down the calipers which makes them look brand new. I finally was able to post up some pictures of the car as well. Enjoy!

A little pricey for what you get but works great!
Got this for my sons new car and debated on getting the spray or the brush on and rolled the dice on this kit. Comes with about a 1/8th of a pint of paint and some activator, brake dust cleaner and a small brush. Brake dust cleaner is about 4 bucks and the brush is worth maybe 2 bucks tops so you are paying about 48 bucks for a 1/8th of a pint of paint and some activator. BUT.....it works and its all in one kit so there is that. Clean up your calipers good with the cleaner and a wire brush, activate the paint and start brushing it on. You will have enough paint to do 3 heavy coats on all calipers...dont worry....I even had some left over. It will harden about 5 to 6 hours so after you add the activator, get to it and get it done. It does a good job of self leveling and filling in the roughness of the caliper itself. Really cleans them up and a nice sporty look to the car. Im sure if I looked hard enough I could find the paint and activator cheaper and buy my own break dust cleaner and brush...but it is what it is....if you are looking for a quick way to clean up your calipers and dont mind the cost.....this kit is great.

Looks great, mostly prep work,
I really like this product. I took off all four wheels, vehicle on jack stands. This will allow you to put a coat from caliper to caliper all th way around, each one taking about 15 min, which the recommended between coat times. So by the time your done with all four, start the second and so on. Four coats was plenty for me. By the way, I had half my paint left, so those that worry about not enough, I don't know what they are painting. I also after about six hours after the final paint coat, applied Brembo decals to the calipers. I then to the high temp clear caliper coat, sold here as well, and laid four coats over the decals. The paint is glossy enough on its own. The clear coat was only for the decals. Immediately put all four wheels back on. Let it set until the next day. I have had countless complements and queries about them already. It was very easy. Just buy a small wire brush and clean them well with the included caliper cleaner, (very hassle free). The total time including the six hour wait time between paint and decal clear coat was 10 hours. From first lug nut off, to all four wheel back on the ground. Highly recommended.

Good results... as expected.
As long as you don't expect it to turn out like the picture in the description of the product, you'll be happy. I don't believe that one was painted using the G2 kit.The product was just as easy to use as my last kit, which used a spray paint vs this brush on paint. The color is not as dark red as I had hoped, but is as good as it gets without having a custom color. I'm not sure if it is truly self leveling, but it looks smooth overall. The caliper itself was not perfectly smooth. The paint is bright and solid. I can not speak on the durability as It's only been a few days. The last, less highly reviewed, kit I used has been going strong for over 5 years. That kit was black and I may not notice any changes to the color quality and finish as I may with this red one. What I did: Removed and cleaned all the parts (very important step). Made sure the parts were clean and dry and then painted all the parts of the caliper I wanted to be red. I waited until the next day to be sure it had time to cure. I added the decals and then used VHT clear coat over the decal and the entire caliper. I waited another full day to let that cure as well and then reassembled everything.

This is a great caliber paint
This is a great caliber paint. Very resistant and shiny colour. You just wipe it and it looks like brand new. Used it on four different cars and aways satisfy. Highly recommended.
