Best Machine Out There
This is a great heater; it works very well. I cannot review about the installation because I had someone else install it. But I can say that it only took them about an hour.It is well worth the money.

Does NOT come with connector!
You do not get the pigtail to connect this to the switch your have to buy that seperate. Unfortunately we did not know this and now have to wait longer to install it due to now waiting on a pigtail. For this price you would think it would just be sent with it.

Fits perfectly in a Shay Model A
Update: The whining noise is AWFUL. But the heater really works well so I'm still mostly very happy with it. I would love it if they could make one without that terrible noise.You can't easily control how air enters it; it comes in through several points. I used foil HVAC tape to close off some of them, and ran air conduits to the rest, and it seems better than leaving it open to the elements under the car. But it reduced throughput and probably wasn't the nicest thing to do to the poor heater.Happily, the thing is so powerful, even with reduced power it is plenty of heat to have the top down on a 50 degree night! I can't vouch for it in true winter situations, but I bet it would be fine.-- Previously --I haven't finished hooking up and testing, but so far so great. Fits where literally no other heater can. Blows good and strong so far. Minus one star because it makes a whining noise, though it's not awful. And because it has a three prong power connector and doesn't come with the pigtail that goes with it.I'll update when I know more, but so far I'm pretty delighted.

Old CJ7 application.
I put this in an old CJ7. Typically she's topless but I wanted to use it more since I have a hard top.It is more than sufficient to keep me warm.

I don't like it
I powered it up before i installed it, and it was fine. Once I attached the hoses i noticed one of two inlets for the fan was blocked by the hoses. Now the fan whines like it can't get air. I hate this product.

Works well but electrical connector & hose fittings are not included
I installed this in a John Deere 850i Gator and once I got the air bled out it works well. This is not a “kit” and the necessary wires or connectors to connect the switch to the harness connector are not included. Both switch and harness connector are male spades, so you will need female spade connectors and appropriate length of wires. You will also need appropriate hose “T” fittings to tie into your vehicle coolant lines, and hose clamps. The low profile and smooth housing of heater fits nicely in tight space below dash. I used two 90° elbows to route each hose from heater through the firewall to tie into vehicle heater hoses. It has ample air flow- I wish it had a lower blower speed. Louvers work well for directing air
