Worked fine on my 2008 Mac Pro 3,1
I was looking to upgrade my wifi and bluetooth to work with all the new features in macOS (Catalina with DosDude), found the wifi card used online (BCM94360CD $39 eB) an this adapter, after finding adapters that go up to $100, was skeptical, but it worked, definitely worth the money, 2 corners are marked to breakaway if space is needed for antenna. Most Affordable WiFi bluetooth upgrade for 3,1

Great Upgrade for the Money
This was great and fairly easy to use in my Mac Pro! Maybe not the easiest install but it can be done. Great upgrade for the money

Perfect for upgrading WiFi/BT on a 2009-2011 iMac
This adapter provides the three needed solder points for connection to original BT module; power, USB+ and USB-. MacRumors forum has instructions. You'll also need an antenna extension for BT, and depending on iMac year you may need an extra WiFi antenna. After that it is plug and play. A worthwhile upgrade, for it now supports Apple Watch unlocking and speed/features of a modern WiFi/BT card.

Good quality but incomplete kit.
The card does what it says but be warned that you will need to install and solder a USB socket if you want Bluetooth functionality from your Broadcom card. The board only includes the PCB soldering points for the USB jack. It doesn't include the USB extension cable or the wireless antenna cables. I had to shell out money for the complete kit at OSXWiFi.com.
