What older later cannot identify with Maxine.

Maxine lives in all of us. She says and does what we all would like to do and say....but are too reserved. Just sit back, put your feet up and enjoy some dry (but true) humor. Maxine is the little old lady we will all evolve in to.....one way or another. Sit back and enjoy.

The book was in excellent condition

Cranky Maxine is always a fun read.

I guess I purchased a used book, and it's not the used part that I minded. But what I recieved was a dramatically bent/creased book with some sort of crumbs or something stuck to it. This was a gift for my mom I couldn't give it to her right after I got it. I literally had to clean off, wipe it down and do my best to repair the crease. I don't know who would send a book with crumbs(?) I don't even know what crusty stuff stuck to it. However despite all this I didn't pay a high price and the book is relatively fine which is why I'm giving 4 stars. But if it said "good condition" I would disagree, more like fair, or okay/decent. I shouldn't have to clean up something I ordered like that tho ugh.

I love Maxine! I've bought most of her books and re-read them. She's funny and quite entertaining.
