Great fiber mesh tape
Fiber mesh drywall tape, worked as hoped. It has just enough tackiness to stick on the wall and not peel off with the first coat of mud.Much cheaper than other products that do the same thing.

Drywall tape is for patching drywall holes
I can't believe some of the reviews here so let me get this out right away and state that this is just some low-tack grid-tape that one uses to them apply drywall mud or drywall compound to, in order to patch a crack or smaller hole. How small? Well, I wouldn't go above 1" unless you want to overlap and do 2 rows, then maybe 1.5" Any bigger and you should consider a different solution.Anyhow, I used this to patch what looked like an expansion crack over a doorway on both sides as well as another hole. I have probably 10 miles of this left that I'll end up never needing, but, hey, it's there if I do.Tip; put enough mud over it that you can't see the gridlines; else it will show up when you paint ;)

Did not stick, old roll?
This roll was old. Did not stick very well if all. Half the pieces fell off the wall. I dont know if its the product or the seller.

Alternative use in gardening
I use this product for screening drain holes in my plant pots. So not using it for drywall. But it works great for my houseplants and outdoor plant pots. I cut pieces and stick them over the drain holes in my pots (on the inside), then fill the pots with potting mix and the plants. Keeps most of the soil from leaking out as I water. The sticky side helps to keep the pieces in place.Highly recommend for this purpose.
