It's very pliable. Hopefully come winter freeze it will not get hard and brittle. I think the heads on the screws could be slightly larger. I installed the Silicone License Plate Frame yesterday and overall I am pleased with the product.The only negative I might have is maybe there should be more drain holes on the bottom of the silicone frame.* I don't know how much the Rate features - Security features applies to this item. One can take any license plate if they have a couple of screwdrivers with them.

I've purchased a ton of these - in fact I have them installed on 14 vehicles right now. Some have been on for years. They are solid and have lasted quite some time. They not only look nice, but they keep the metal license plates off of your vehicle's paint.

This helps finish off the license plate and gives it a nice look. But the rubber is completely flexible and it does not help support the license to keep it from bending. I tried to combine it with a plastic back for support but could not get that to work.The covers for the screws are a nice touch, but be sure to press hard to get them to lock on or they will be gone rather quickly.

These things work great! They protect the paint on your car by providing a buffer between the car and the metal license plate. They also just cover the edge of the plate enough that you can apply the yearly renewal stickers without having to take the plate out of the cover. Double win!

The silicone frame was slightly too small for the license plate, so even though I was able to place it on, the frame was was flush and straight. The item also came with half the screws than advertised. Seller offered to reimburse for that portion, but I opted to return the item instead. I found another similar item that had better fitting and complete parts

All the parts were included for installation which is super easy. Of course these won't rust or rattle as you go down the road. Simple is better and who needs to give those dealers free advertising on your car. I like 'em.

I have had some plate frames that were metal or plastic and would run the car at times. This is nice as it si silicone and the plates fits in it. If gives a nice minimalistic look while protecting the car from the plate.
