Solid anchor base that come with wood screws and solid concrete anchors. Installed properly these are very strong and they worked well for my porch fence and stairs. You'd spend almost as much for the hardware alone at the big box store plus the anchor base is not any better. Can't beat the value of the anchor base plus all the hardware you will need to make this work. Definitely a great product!

It's very sturdy and cheaper than the $35 equivalent from Lowe's. I only will say I wish I had listened to the reviews and bought some red head anchor bolts. The ones that come with it didn't fit in the 5/8" hole. After trying and trying and trying I finally had to accept sweaty 97 degree defeat and go buy some in the middle of this most recent hot Saturday. They should just drop the price slightly and stop shipping with anchor bolts IMO.

great option for post anchor boots that I would compare in steel thickness to the Simpson Strong Tie. Liked that these also came with the hardware to mount them and seemed very sturdy overall. The wedge/sleeve anchors that were included did work, but did seem to be a bit lower quality compared to the boot itself, if using the lag bolts included to mount to wood, should have no problem.

This worked just just fine. I am building a 6' wood privacy fence and needed one of these to attach to a concrete sidewalk in the side of my house. It was a tad tight fit for a 4x4 pressure treated post but with a little persuasion of a hammer it went right in. I didn't have any issues with the anchors that came with it either as others have stated. This seems like the same thickness of the name brand ones that cost double the price. I would buy again if I needed another one.
