Feliway Diffuser Refill, 48 ml

My vet strongly recommended this for my cats. Feliway work for my 2 kitties.. I adopted them both last years. they were rescues and adults. My boy, Freddie, is very anxious and hides from every human but me. This sweet lover-boy is super skittish, I and i think he clearly suffered in his past from neglect and possible physical abuse. Feliway has been great... He stops hiding all the time... He now sleeps during the day in plain sight. He can even tolerate some guests without running off. He is still on the shy side, but is a lot more confident. He also is a lot more chill about his food.. Before, hungry or not, he would really freak out if his food bowl was empty... which my vet said was the result of his previous food deprivation.. Now I only need to have food in his bowl at meal time... which is good because he was chunking up.I though my other sweet boy, Elton, had no issues with anxiety util I started Feliway... Elton's first human Mom died of old age, but he was always well cared for. He is a very personable extroverted, attention seeking kitty. I realized that he was actually very clingy... always needed to right next to me. Once I started Feliway, I noticed that he was sleeping more and not so concerned with everything I was doing... he also seems a lot more relaxed. He also stopped aggressively grooming my other cat all the time... ( which Freddie clearly did not enjoy)But problem... I am pretty there is something wrong with the last batch Feliway I ordered on Amazon.. The packaging just doest seem right.... I suspect it is a knock off or something? I might need to order this through Chewy.com again.. I never had issues there.

My upstairs neighbor was feeding the apartment complex strays. I’d have 8 to 10 cat’s on my porch every night meowing and/or fighting every night. My cat is a very territorial rescue, who also has asthma. She would work herself up so badly that I was having to give her treatments nearly every night. My vet suggested getting one of these diffusers after a few days, she was much calmer. It took several conversations with the neighbor to get her to stop feeding the cats.I was skeptical at first and was afraid of using chemicals, thankfully it isn’t a harmful chemical, it’s a natural pheromone that is similar to what mother cat’s give off to calm their kittens. I have a bird and it doesn’t affect her at all.

I keep one of these going in the main kitty space all the time. It works very well with two rambunctious boy kittens who get out of hand a bit more when it’s not on. I’ve used this product for years as I had a very anxious male cat before these covid kittens and it worked very well for anxiety on him. For my two mewbies, it calmed the transition from the rescue place to their new home and I can tell when it runs out, they get a bit more anxious since I live in a place with traffic noise and sirens. Three thumbs up! Highly recommend to households with cats.

My wife and I have 4 cats. One of which pees on anything and everything she can find. We don't know why so we tried this as well that FeliWay MultiCat. None of it worked for her. She still just peed on anything. However, we recently caught a stray feral kitten who was completely malnourished and sick. We have it in a bathroom (one of our cats has FIV so we can't risk the kitten giving the FIV cat anything) and the kitten wouldn't eat or come of a corner. My wife said try the destresser diffuser (FeliWay Classic), so I did. After 4 hours of it being plugged in the kitten was pushing his head into my wife's hand wanting to be pet and was eating in front of us and becoming a kitten who had been around people its whole life. Now I just wish it worked for the other cat's problem! It is on the pricey side for a single month but if it works for your cat then it's worth the money, but since it is situational I can't give it 5 stars.

I have a 2 cat household. 1 of my cats struggles with anxiety and general crabbiness. My vet told us about this product, so we decided to try it. I didn't notice much of an effect at first; she was still acting out. But when it ran out.. that's when I noticed that this product was working. She was noticeably stressed, her hair not laying smoothly, growling more. So anyway, it doesn't turn your stressed-out cat docile, but it does help take the edge off her stress and that's worth $11 a month to me. I don't think this product is worth the Petsmart price though! It's not that epic. Also, fyi, if your cat will wear a collar (mine won't), my friend said the feliway calming collars are amazing.

Feliway keeps my seven year old shelter adopted baby who clearly has some ptsd from previous homes and shelters calm and happy. The vet recommended it to me after I brought my cat in thinking there was something medically wrong with him because he was hiding under my kitchen table and growling and hissing at me but not attacking which cats tend to do in pain. But he's perfectly healthy and as long as I change the filter every month he's completely content and will snuggle up beside me on the couch or somewhere nearby. It's been an absolute blessing. Would definitely recommend Feliway to anyone with a temperamental or skittish cat!

I bought 3 Feliway devices to try to stop the 2 cats from fighting, a behavior that only started recently. It did seem to work after the second refill.I gave it 2 stars because it is supposed to last 30 days. 1 lasted 10 days, 1 lasted 14 days and 1 lasted 26 days. All were in the Feliway brand plug in, 1 was brand new and the other 2 had been used once before. When you need 3 atomizers to stop the behavior, replacing them every 10 days is very, very expensive

We got a 6 week old puppy and my cat was not happy. She went under the bed and would not come out. I went to the store and bought this stuff. I later bought the refill from Amazon. My cat came out within 30 minutes. Could not believe it. She had been under there for approximately 20 hours. Wouldn't come out to eat, drink or to use the liter box (she held it). This makes her more relaxed. Our cat is not best friends with our dog yet but now there is hope. She no longer hides all the time.
