Feels solid like a wooden pencil and grips better
After tried it, I immediately understood why artists love it. It feels as solid as a wooden pencil, similar in weight to a wooden pencil, and even better - the metal ring provides a much better grip on the fingertips. I love it very much. Would purchase again.

Love this pencil
This is my new go to pencil for sketching! This in combo with the sharpener is a deal changer! Love this product.

Good Value But Missing some of the Nicer Fit and Finish.
These are a good value as a set. They are lighter and less substantial than lead holders from 30 and 40 years ago. The knurling is quite sharp and could have been buffed better before plating. It would also be nice to have the ability to identify the lead in holder.

Comfy, holds lead securly and fits the sharpener perfectly.
Just what you would expect from german engineering. My only criticism would be the marks for lead hardness could be easier to read.

They work well with Pentel Multi 8 colors
I bought these to hold the colored leads from broken a Pentel Multi 8 pencil. The fit is right, and I actually like having the colors in separate holders. They also work great with the graphite leads that came with them. I'm happy so far.
