MonstrumH-Series V2 Ultralight Offset Picatinny Scope Mount

The mount holds and secures tightly. Very easy to install and tighten. Finish matches perfect. Holds tight after use.

This piece is pretty slim and seems durable enough for my application. I'm using this in combination with a Vortex Crossfire LPVO and a Monstrum throw lever. I am happy with how the setup turned out. I didn't feel like dumping loads of cash into the mount and lever so I opted out of the more expensive hardware. This mount and the throw lever solved that problem for me.

I wasn't expecting to put this to any serious use, just a temporary host for new scopes, but I'm starting to get comfortable with the possibility. It does show some expected cost-cutting in the finer fit and finish (the different halves of the rings don't have quite the same external width, and I recommend either sandpapering their edges or adding a tape liner to avoid marking scope finishes), but the apparent strength and rigidity of the unit, not to mention the lack of warping or other alignment issues, have left little room for complaint.

Scopes with 30mm tubes are heavy to start with, and a rugged "tactical" mount just adds to the burden. This little one-piece mount for AR-style rifles is sturdy enough for regular range use and saves a few grams.

Had to purchase two of these because I forgot to make sure the correct size was selected, but not a big deal because I’m sure I’ll be able to use it in the future.
