This company makes an awesome knife. They feel so good in one’s hand. Perfect fit and feel. The only problem is they need to be fine tuned. Lots of sanding with a sanding stick to get rid of all the sharpe edges All around. Makes one bond with the knife I suppose. In the end you will end up with an awesome EDC. A keeper. I’ve purchased their whole line. Highly recommend.

Ok let me start off with the things that I do like about this knife. First this knife is 25 bucks and that's amazing that you can even find a knife this good for that price. I bought the kahki version, and I have to say this is over solid very sharp looking knife and I really like the blue metallic screws with the kahki g10 and they really compliment each other very nicely and it looks sharp.It comes with a ball bearing pivot system with multiple means of deployment, and they are all flawless with a perfectly tuned detent just as good as my kubey 322 one of my favorite knives. You can use the tab which is perfect placed, or finger choil to thumb flick, or reverse flick. The detent is perfect for reverse flick, not obviously strong like most knives that can only be thumb flicked. This is a real fidgety knife if you like thatThe finger choil is the perfect size as well as the knife itself, if you like big knives then you will like this one, it's about the same size as my kubey 322I love the tanto blade style and you can do nice utility cuts but there's room for improvement as I will mention later. The d2 steel is good as wellThe g10 is beautifully done on this, it gives you perfect grip and feels really comfortable in your handsThe clip is nice and strong and stays in the pocket niceNow for the things that I think would make this knife better and would make me give this knife 5 stars and 4 starts isn't even appropriate, 4.5 is more appropriateBlade design is hard to sharpen and mine didn't come all that sharp right out of the box, as said before I love tanto, it's over of my favorite, however to make this knife perfect, get rid of the annoying recurve that's in the middle of the heel of the knife, why you thought that would be good, I don't know, but it makes it impossible to sharpen on a traditional flat whetstone, and for this reason I'm not a big fan of recurves and hawkbills, they look really cool, but not easy to sharpen, in order to sharpen a recurve you have to use a diamond rod and that's what I ended up doing to get mine except able. But just get rid of the recurve at the heel and problem solved, I'm half tempted to re profile it straight but it's be giving up a good quarter inch of the blade to do so.D2 is by no means an inferior steel but it has its downfalls and would be nice to see this same knife in 14c28n for like 10 to 15 bucks more.The first thing would make this knife perfect, the second thing is only a preference. If they got rid of the dang recurve I'd be happy and say this is perfect

Handle is very ergonomic and feels good in the hand. Blade has no play in it and is perfectly centered.

D2 Steel, Fantastic grip, very sharp, easy open and close. Never had an Eafengrow before, now I have bought three. Better than the much more expensive knives out there.

Not liking the blade locking mechanism at all. Nice knife but the liner lock is not even half onto the blade butt. Kinda scary looking. The locking mechanism should be full engaged to the butt of the knife always.

I’m a collector so I’ve handled my share of folding knives and the quality at this price point will be hard to beat. The liners aren’t weight relieved so it’s a little heavy but not too much in my opinion. If you’re looking to add this knife to your collection, I definitely recommend it. Good quality at a good price.

Color is way off, the desert tank in the pic is more like a light olive green. Also, very hard to close the blade and the blade itself while it looked nice, had some small pitting on it from poor quality control.

This is a full-size knife. This knife won't be for everyone as it is a funky design. The knife is smooth, sharp and tight! Worth every penny of the $20 I paid for it, and I actually like the design.UPDATE Out of more than a dozen Eafengrow knives I have never had this happen...blade rocking...the liner lock isn't built to the correct tolerances which allow the blade to be tight when locked open :( I've heard of people soldering or welding some metal onto the liner or blade to correct this, I won't be doing either of those things. This is a major feature of a pocketknife so I had to remove 1 star :( Sorry EF - improve your QC on this one.
