Star Wars The Black Series Count Dooku Force FX Lightsaber with LEDs and Sound Effects, Collectible Roleplay Item, Ages 14 and Up

I was in two minds as to whether to get this as the curved hilt was never my favourite design, but I'm glad I did add it to my collection as it's one of the best constructed and nicest lightsaber replicas in the black series line.Solidly built with a chrome metal hilt with rubberised grip. The blade is also very bright (the red blades don't tend to be as bright as the blue and green blades due to light wavelengths) so make sure you use fresh batteries if you want the full effect! The sounds are also very loud with the combined battery pack/speaker unit as the entire pommel that screws into the base of the hilt. This also makes it one of the heaviest lightsabers available - so be aware of this if you're planning on duelling or spinning this around. In spite of this it's surprisingly comfortable to hold in the hand and is well balanced.Worth picking up if you're looking to add to your collection or are a fan of the prequel sabers.

Unboxing this sabre is an absolute treat. After waiting what seemed like an eternity for its release this is an almost identical copy of the 2008 force FX signiture series count dooku saber. The activation switch is black as opposed to chrome on the 2008, the sound effects are slightly different and the sound vent pattern on the base differs slightly. It's dated 2020 on the base which is the most obvious way to tell you have a new one.Great as a functional display piece that lights up, hums, growls and the sound varies as you move it around and make light contact. Not a kids toy and definitely not for dueling. You'd break it very quickly. Overall fantastic sabre, probably the best of the black series so far and great value for money. Great addition to any sabre collection.

This is a great product with amazing sound and feel. Just like the movie this product is very screen accurate, the lightsaber has a shiny finish to the metal so it will attract finger prints but these easily rub off. The blade isn't removable but that doesn't take away any of the enjoyment any star wars fan would have with it. Definitely recommend this to anyone.

I have around 10 master replica FX lightsabers and one black series FX lightsaber (prior to this one).This one is extremely well built and is as good if not better than the master replica one (newer technology).The only down size is the stand holds the lightsaber in the opposite direction to the master replica ones, but this is the only down fall.The price is amazing as other sellers are selling for £300 +

As my first FX Black Series The Count Dooku one came down to 117.99 and couldn't resist, and pleased to say it didn't disappoint.Surprised how weighty it is and big. Will look brilliant on display. Chrome handle looks and feels amazing.Shame that with these earlier models that you cant remove the blade for display, and also a vertical stand option would have been great too but all in all very pleased.

Count Dooku’s lightsaber is highly sought after, so it was greatly anticipated when the black series announced Dooku would be getting another FFX saber release.Unlike the previous one around 2008, this saber is much thinner, and thus, has a smoother, more effortless swing.Visually, it’s a beauty. The chrome, countered by the flat black grip, and the crimson blade make for a Star Wars collector’s dream piece.The listing says it takes AA batteries, it’s actually AAA batteries it takes.My only real complaint is the soundboard. It’s been years since the last Dooku saber, and we still don’t have the Sith ignition sound effect. It’s the standard soundboard, but I’d love to see a difference in sabers, having those characteristic sounds.Despite that, it still gets a 10/10 from me.

This will make a fine addition to my collection.

Great for any Star Wars fan. The hilt is made of metal so is quite heavy. This is the saber I’ve wanted for ages and as it was in the sale I couldn’t resist. This is my first black series lightsaber. Wish I started collecting sooner.

My son is beyond happy with it. Very well built and the finish is very nice.

Che dire, è la spada laser del Conte Dooku, bellissima nella forma.Leggermente più grande di quella utilizzata nel film per fare spazio alle batterie per l'accensione.Pezzo da esposizione veramente notevole.Il prezzo di queste spade laser si sta alzando sempre di più purtroppo.

Concuerdo en que es de los mejores diseños de la serie: buen peso y balance, estética muy buena ¡Vaya! Excelente para exhibir junto a otros sables. Los detalles casi perfectos, salvo el interruptor que destaca como algo fuera de lugar; es decir, no se mimetiza con el hilo como en los anteriores... Tal vez hasbro debiera considerar la posibilidad de agregar la manera de retirar el tubo de plástico, en caso que el comprador lo requiera, pero sigue siendo buena opción tal como esta. Otro detalle que percibo negativo, es la tira led del interior del tubo, pues la separación que tiene es visible y deja pequeños huecos en la iluminación. Fuera de esas cosas que debiera corregir el fabricante, el sable está para presumirse...

Great replica. I sadly missed out on the original Master Replicas version, so I jumped on this asap. Great addition to any lightsaber collector

Compré el sable por 120€ porque por ponía que el embalaje podía estar en mal estado. No estaba nuevo. Tenía cinta reparadora alrededor pero bastante bien, mejor de lo que me esperaba. El interior estaba totalmente intacto. Conservaba hasta los plásticos y pegatinas. El sable, en perfecto estado.Es un poco más grande que el original pero el nivel de detalles es muy bueno. En mi caso, he hecho la conversión y la he adaptado para poder desmontar la hoja. Ha quedado de lujo. Por ese precio ha sido una genial opción. Quizás es un riesgo comprar cuando lo ves como “usado”. En mi caso, contento.
