This thermostat is overall easy to install and use and is very reliable
We own two condos with fan/coil units (actually a total of 6 units) and have these thermostats on all of the units. This thermostat is overall easy to install and use and is very reliable. It has a setback mode which is great for times that you need to set upper and lower limits that activate either heat or air to keep the temperature in that range.

Has a mind of it's own
This thermostat is really bad. It changes from HEAT to COOL and COOL to HEAT automatically against your setting. It also turns itself ON when you set it to OFF. When you set the temp at COOL 75F in the summer it should turn itself OFF when the temp of the room reaches 75F or below but it doesn't...It keep the AC running because it automatically switches to the HEAT 75F. If you switch the thermostat OFF sometimes it automatically turn itself ON. So you cannot control/override anything. Really annoying when you plan to save energy when you are on vacation.
