National Geographic Alaska Wall Map (40.5 x 30.25 in) (National Geographic Reference Map)

This is a Christmas gift for my daughter and son in law. The have bought 20 acres in Alaska. This will be for them to mark all the places the will adventure to!

It was very hard to find a map of Alaska that included the Aleutians as part of the entire state, and not just an inset. Beautiful detail.

I work for a defense contractor and my division is in charge of Alaska. We have about 60 sites that we manage and we needed a way to display their location, so I got this map and some push pins. It's a great looking map and has every village I needed, and it's the perfect size for a large cork-board. If you're looking for a map of Alaska I would definitely recommend this one.

Good, but very thin material. Came ripped on the edges upon arrival, but doesn’t bother me. I’d get the framed or laminated option to avoid any wear/tear from shipping.

Helped us understand how large Alaska is compared to the rest of the States. Loved that it included every single island!! The only thing that would make it better would be if it was laminated.

This is a great map if you want an all inclusive layout of Alaska. I spent a fair amount of time in Alaska and my family used this map to track where I was. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who has or plans to travel here!

Too many labels in too small of a font make this map too difficult to read. The cartographer attempted to label absolutely everything which resulted in a tangled mess of labels that were too small to read and obscured the features they were meant to identify. It would have been much better if the cartographer was more selective in which features to label. If you want a reference map of Alaska to put on your wall don't buy this map. I bought this map and returned it because it simply wasn't functional as a reference map.

It’s a great map of Alaska they often don’t show the full Aleutian chain in Alaskan maps this one is beautiful and accurate

Beautiful quality and color that made National Geographic maps the icons that they are.

Tube arrived dented with the map inside dented and crinkled don't know if Amazon or canada post damaged it but a disappointment either way lots of details on the map itself however kinda wish the font was bigger though especially on Rivers and the larger towns might have framed it if it arrived in better condition may still try to smooth it out better but still very disappointed about receiving a damaged item for wall art
