Moo-ve Over Pleather – This Glove’s the Real Deal
Let’s get one thing straight — the Franklin Sports CTZ5000 isn’t just a glove, it’s a leather handshake from a cow that gave its all for your baseball dreams.Fits like it was born on my hand. Soft enough to catch comfortably, tough enough to snag line drives without flinching, and it even smells like baseball nostalgia and bovine excellence. None of that fake “pleather” nonsense that feels like it was repurposed from a knockoff purse and melts in July.Yes, it’s a little pricey — but real cowhide doesn’t grow on trees (unless cows are evolving faster than I thought). And honestly, if you're still out there trying to break in a plastic glove that sounds like a chip bag every time you close it... it’s time to level up.Pros:– Real leather: legit cow, not “leather-adjacent” vinyl– Great fit, solid construction– Looks and feels like it means businessCons:– Costs more than that $12 "pleather" special, but it also doesn’t squeak like a sad couch when you flex it.Final Verdict:5 stars. Smells like victory and a well-fed cow. Buy it.

Very good comparable to other more popular brand in the $150
My first 5 star review. Brought the 11.5 inch glove for my nephews. 1 year later review: Very good quality, was $68 (on sale a year ago) for a cowhide leather can't beat it at this price (now it's $90). Franklin baseball glove popularity is in a decline so you get more for your buck compare to Wilsons, Rawling ... and so on. Try to find a premium cow hive from the more popular brand at this price range and you'll like wont find any. This glove can go head to head with Wilson $150 dollars gloves. Just don't try to compare this to Wilson's $200 dollar gloves and above. Franklin lower end gloves would avoid unless you're only using it for casual catch and throw. P.S I'm 5'5" and work perfectly for me while fielding groundballs in the infield, too small for outfield. Bigger frame person should get 11.75 to 12.00 infield

Palm needs more padding great glove overall
Honestly, great construction. The only down side is there could be more padding on the palm like the Mizunos. This leather mit pops though. I’d say game ready if you need it to be. This glove will break in quick. Deep pocket web that is sturdy all the way up. I love this glove and recommend it for the price. The stitching will hold up for a few years. Maybe it’ll last 25 years like my mizuno

exquisite quality
I recently got my hands on the Franklin CTZ5000 - catcher's mitt, and I couldn't be more impressed! This mitt is a game-changer for both adult and youth players. The leather construction not only feels premium but also offers exceptional durability, making it a great investment for any player looking to elevate their game. The camel and brown color combination is stylish yet classic, appealing to players of all ages. I noticed that the mitt offers excellent flexibility. One of the standout features for me is how well it molds to the hand. The pocket is well-structured, providing confidence when catching high-speed balls. If there's one thing I don't quite fancy about the glove is its weight. Pretty heavy for me, but then again maybe it's just my noodle arm.Overall, I recommend the Franklin CTZ5000 glove for young and youth players. It’s a fantastic blend of quality, comfort, and performance. Worth every dollar spent!

Great glove and trusted
This will be my third one and I love them all. It’s a great glove.I switch back and fourth before 2 fingers in the pinky to a finger per finger slot and if I put my fingers in each slot this new glove feels extremely weird and out of place. It’s almost like the pointer finger hole is way too tight. Going to keep it and break it in which will probably make it better but out of the gate it’s uncomfortable.Great glove though!

Feels and performs like any overpriced glove I’ve owned without the price.
Often I’ve tried baseball gloves at Sporting goods stores like Dick’s or General stores like Walmart. I can never usually find a Quality glove that doesn’t cost more than $120 for authentic feel, and soft grip impulsivity without a massive break in period. However this glove works well for difficult catches, and ease of closing the grip. This glove fit my big hands perfectly, and the price in comparison to every other is the best I could find.

Decent glove
decent quality glove it didn’t take long to break in and very flexible on the hang but the leather wears down pretty fast but it’s a pretty nice glove for its price
