As a 12 year law enforcement veteran, this is a simple but well thought out accessory to add to your uniform shirt or carrier. I’ve had multiple products similar to this by competitors and they’ve all ended up broken and In need of this replacement. Been using my MIC TIGHT product for a month now with no issues. As a K9 handler it has been thru many different scenarios with an opportunity to be tested and it has withheld all it has been faced with. Stays in place connects to the clip with ease. Quick shipment of my product and a fair price. Be sure to give this product a try and eliminate the need to try and hook your radio to uniform shirts any longer. Will definitely recommend this product to fellow police officers and correctional officers.

This product works perfectly! It holds the mic in just the right place on my shirt, I can reach it and hear it much easier in this location. I am on my second one, the first one broke within 2 days and the second one lasted 2.5 days. I am keeping the broken one and using bread ties to hold it together because, again, it works so great! I have contacted the company and they are very interested in hearing how to upgrade the product. I work in a prison and normally I am not in a confrontational occupation (it could happen, but hasn't yet) so I am not using this under any duress as of yet. Maybe the plastic is too thin, but both times it has cracked at the ends. AGAIN, this design is perfect, it sits between two shirt buttons and you clip your mic onto it. I am hoping they can just make a more durable one soon. I will continue using the broken one as long as it holds together.

I work in a maximum security prison in Washington state, we only have our shirts to clip our mic’s to and that ALWAYS fail to secure when responding to a code. This has been a HUGE game changer for me wearing my radio. I wear mine over my shoulder and it stays secure my entire shift. I never have to second guess it to make sure it’ll work. Once it’s on it’s good to go. I’ve had a lot of coworkers see it and ask questions about it. It’s seriously the best $10 I’ve spent on an accessory for work.

Great little piece of equipment! I use this with my Motorola Bluetooth speaker/mic on my duty radio. The teeth on the back of this clip holds it securely and I love knowing my mic isn’t going to slip off the fabric of my uniform!

This product is a must have for ANY Law Enforcement Officer with a lapel microphone! It is both durable and inconspicuous. The design makes it as though the lapel mic is a PART of my uniform instead of something attached to it. If you are an LEO and are reading this (and have used a lapel mic), at some point you have been running... and your mic be 3 feet behind you bouncing, or you have just been fighting and reached for a mic that was no longer there, and had to “whip” it up to you from the radio itself. This product eliminates that and it’s competition, all in one. Bottom line, if you want to take my lapel mic from me, with this product, you are going to have to rip my buttons or shirt off to get it. After purchasing for myself, I thought this to be of such importance, for OFFICER SAFETY, that I bought several more for my coworkers, and a few friends at other agencies. I’m not rich but I believe that investment was worth it because this product could save their life one day... and YOURS!

I have worked as a police officer for 20+ years in Minnesota. I have always carried a portable radio on my duty belt with an external mic. Most of the time I would have the mic attached to a shoulder epaulette on my uniform shirt. During the winter months I would attach the mic to the front of my uniform shirt which was more user friendly when wearing a winter coat. The Mic Tight creates a stable and secure platform for you to attach the shoulder mic to your uniform shirt. The Mic Tight attaches quickly and easily to (2) of the buttons on your uniform shirt. Once attached you just clip your shoulder mic and your done. Product is reasonably priced, made in the USA. I would highly recommend this product.

I have been using this product for approx 4 months now and it fits great on my uniform buttons. It does not damage the buttons on my uniform. I used to wear my mic on a paracord lanyard and it would swing from side to side everytime i had to chase bad guys. This products eliminates having to hold the mic while running, my co workers hear me perfectly while the mic is on my shirt.

I’ve had many years of my extender mic fall off my uniform and always had to put it through my lapel. A couple weeks ago I saw a new hire with one and he recommended it and now it’s a great tool I don’t go without. It really does add to my Officer safety during struggles. Radio Communication is key.
