It was hard to put in it didn’t really fit right

these parts were not for a "build" but to prevent a future failure on the cold air side stock plastic pipe. having to replace the up pipes and deciding it was a good time to replace the oil cooler also - the CAC piping was very accessible -How ever - as some have said -he clamps are junk and not suitable for use on silicone hose, the hot side pipe is not bent correctly , cold side may have been BUT if I used the new boots on the hot side and my old pipe (was an option as it is intact) the remaining boots would not fit the cold side pipe. the pipes are thin , the finish is non durable, almost like a stain instead of a good paint. sadly i will have to use the old plastic cold pipe for now and redo all the work again at a later date. over all a bad way to end the day with junk non-fitting parts.

This pipe fit perfectly. Slipped right in without removing the air filter cradle/battery tray. I didn’t have the problem with the clamps like some others did. Used a Milwaukee 18V impact and gave it a few ugga duggas per clamp. It only goes together one way, so if it doesn’t fit, you have it in backwards. Holds over 30psi of boost just fine.For those on the fence: My stock plastic charge pipe was cracked all around the bellows. It still worked, but would blow air and oil into the engine bay at 10psi and above. This also got rid of the rushing air sound that I always thought was just how a 6.0 was. Fuel mileage improved immediately. No more black smoke under acceleration.

The size is on the smaller side than the stock manufactured, but it fits. But the clamps however are total garbage, they don’t fasten down enough to where it won’t come off under pressure, what I ended up doing is using the original Ford clamps, and they work perfect.YES THERE IS METAL SHAVINGS, BEWARE!! but nothing a microfiber towel can’t fix, just tie a string to the towel and pull through.

Fitment was really tight had to sightly modify rubber tube. Clamps are one time use had to loosen and put one back on and it stripped threads luckily factory ones were still good to use

Thank you, thank you, thank you. If you are looking at this product you are either looking at dressing up under the hood of your 6.0L or fixing yet another design flaw for the Ford 6.0. I was moving from one town to the next 30 miles away. The second load was a 10'x10' steel frame greenhouse on a 12'x6' trailer...so a very light load for my F350. I was just about to top a hill when the Ford rubber coupling blew off. I bought a new Ford coupling, followed instructions 3 times and yet it failed during 3 test runs at less than 20 PSI. So I found these pipes and hauled my 14,000 pound toy hauler and had no failure. The Ford design does not have the flared ends you see on a good design pipe. Again thank you, thank you

You get what you pay for with this purchase. The weilds on the pipe are questionable and the fitment is sub par they do not line up correctly. I had to reuse 2 of the factory hoses because the ones in the kit would not fit properly. I also had to use a couple of the factory clamps because the clamps where the wrong size or broke when tightening. Even after fighting this kit to get it on i had it blow off at the turbo because of another issue with fitment. I was able to get it to finally work so far so good but the red coating has already started to come off. I would go with a little better kit i am only going to keep this around for emergencies i dont feel confident leaving it on.

Worked like they should. Used the clamps provided and everything. Popped off a couple times when I first installed them but after they were seated good have had no more issues. They look good too. Match the color.of my 06 F250.

Just an FYI, you will need the shorter hose on the top passenger side of the tube. The one that will fit the ambulance engine.

the overall product is great. The clamps supplied with these intercooler pipes don't tighten enough and can pop off at low boost pressures. Purchase some better clamps when you purchase this kit and you will be good to go!
