Where do I begin with this review first of let me say I was very excited when I was waiting for delivery only to be disappointed when these "Japanese" knife where shown to be made in China the longer I looked through the knifes the more it became clear that they were not good quality as they had minor scratches on the blade not really a big deal but the fact that some of the joint had odd spacing in one side and not the other and unequal handles when looked at closesy the spine of the knife sticks out and goes back in on some of the knife that I find catches your hand or thumb when you use them I was also expecting them to be sharper right out of the box I would give a 1 star review but for the fact they do look very nice at first glance and from a distance I originally was going to buy the ninja stay sharp set which I now regret 2 days of use and handles are already chipping
