Cable Matters 2-Pack 6.35mm 1/4 Inch TRS to XLR Adapter, Male to Male XLR to 1/4 Adapter, 1/4 to XLR Connector

Used these as adapters on two short XLR cables coming out of an audio interface's TRS 1/4" main outs going to near-field monitors. Prior to this, I was using short HOSA 1/4" TRS cables (the monitors also have 14" TRS inputs). The sound quality improvement is subtle but palpable and much appreciated. Granted, part of that is the XLR cables themselves, but these adapters are of a good weight and quality and are working perfectly in my setup. They'll stay plugged into the XLR cables as this a home studio rig; so I won't be testing durability by unplugging and plugging the adapters back in a ton. Rating these based on the contribution to better sound quality, as well as fit and finish.

If you are in a band, you need these! they also keep disappearing! So keep a lot of spares on hand! Great Product!

I got these to use with monitors on my Focusrite Scarlett 4i4. I have no issues with these; they work great. It's just that the Scarlett jacks are too near to each other for them to plug in comfortably due to their diameter. Just a heads-up to potential buyers.

They latch on the XLR really well without wiggle, which is an experience I have had in the past. It connected my speaker to a sound board. It keeps the jams coming without dropping quality.

I got this to be able to run sound to one of my monitors. I only have 1/4" outs on my mixer but ther monitor is xlr. This did exactly what I needed
