Front Seat Harness Bar for Jeep Wrangler JK 2DR 2007 - 2017

Pretty easy to install. YouTube video from TrailRecon shows a great "How-To" to help with the install. I used etched primer to prime it as it comes unpainted as bare metal. Red spray paint and a few coats of clear all from rattle cans worked well. The five point harness fits snug as it should because of this harness bar. The only issue is trial and error to trim the plastic covers on either side of the doors but it was pretty easy as well using a dremmel with a cut off wheel. Fits perfect and looks great afterward.As a note:You can still fold down the back seats (2016 4 dr JKU) with this bar installed. You can't, however, recline the front seats all the way back as you can imagine. They still recline back further than I need though. Unless your planning to lay them all the way back to sleep you will still be able to recline back to comfortable positions for driving.Enjoy!!

Was too big for my 1995 Jeep YJ about 4-1/2” to 5” had to cut and reeled. The 8mm x 1.25 tap that came with the kit broke right away and all the bolt holes needed to have the tap ran through. I did like that it was bear metal so I did not need to do a bunch of sleazing before I had it powder coated.

These don’t have tabs for a 4 point harness, and to return them you have to pay shipping cost!

Quality construction ( fit was only 95 % )Fitting took some time.
