AMA Manual of Style: A Guide for Authors and Editors
B**R
Essential for medical writing and editing
I've been in medical publishing since 1995 (Production and Developmental Editing for Mosby, Elsevier, Kluwer, and freelance). This style guide is THE definitive go-to for all matters involving manuscript editing for those with or without a science background. This edition is my fourth and worth every penny. I can tell you it ends the discussion on terminology when you can ask, "What does the AMA say?" Nobody in their right mind will or can argue with the answer.

Good, but...
Too much money. Useful and no-nonsense.

Horrible to find what you really need
Not the easiest book to find what you need

Wrinkled pages
Pages are very wrinkled. The box was not damaged so this occurred before packaging.

Riveting read if you’re interested in how to cite anything
Can’t recommend this for its plot, dialogue, or character development 😉 but if you need the book, you need it, and you won’t be disappointed. Comprehensive and well organized explanation of the AMA’s editorial style. Go on; you know you want it. All the cool kids have a copy—why shouldn’t you have one, too?

Manual JAMA
Lo compré para tenerlo a la mano a la hora de escribir, llegó en buenas condiciones, bien protegido y a tiempo. No le faltan páginas.

This a must have resource!
I have recently purchased the Kindle version of the 11th Ed of the AMA Manual of Style and am very pleased with my buy. Will write a detailed review later.
O**!
Was a used book
I usually don't make negative comments, but the book I received was awful. The cover was oily and the pages were wrinkled.
