I have found this to be an excellent text book on UVM. It is well written, and for the most part, easy to understand. I have never used UVM before and am in the process of building my first UVM testbench. I've occasionally gone the UVM Class Reference Manual but this book has had just about all that I've needed so far.The only complaint I have is that the UVM Reference Flow stuff on the Accellera web site doesn't match up well with what is said in the book. For instance the book says that each chapter has its own directory, but I didn't find this to be the case. It took a little bit of searching to find the code in the UVM Reference Flow, but I was able to find it and the code does match what is in the book. All in all I have to say the Meade and Rosenberg did an excellent job.

it is a good reference.
Sort of another book of basics. The catch is that the three major vendors all have a slight twist on UVM so you get what you get. Still, it is a good reference.

Good intro, although the section on Transaction Level Modeling was very confusing (the spec was a bit better). You will still need to have a more detailed book or the spec itself to accomplish anything.
