Q: where is this product made?

I currently only have 1 flavor of the dog & cat food so I reached out to the mfr & this was their response. Btw my pets really love this food. Our food is manufactured here in the USA. Our dry food is made in Minnesota and our canned recipes are made in South Dakota. The meats we use in the recipes all come from the USA. We do source some ingredients from Europe, but we do not source any of ingredients from China.

Q: Is the food suppose to smell horrible? I just rcvd mine today and the smell is awful but says good til 4/2021?

The food that we received doesn't necessarily smell bad itself, it just makes our dogs (particularly the larger dog) smell bad. The food has a high protein content. I'm not an expert, but I would guess that could cause a bad smell in some conditions.

Q: Is this dog food low sodium?

Food contains sodium selenite (listed as the 27th ingredient) and does not show the %. It does not appear to be high in sodium.
