I gave three instead of four because the price is a bit steep for a low performance device. This device does have some nice features though and I like it a lot. For use in the car or maybe at your computer desk, it produces a substantial quantity of negative ions that can be easily smelled at a short distance. However I wouldn't rely on it to purify (remove dust/particles) the air, you need a fan-driven HEPA filter or a much larger ionizer like the Ionic Pro, or a newer molecular air purifier to do that. The fan is simply too small to push the ions very far from the generator.As stated, I like this product a lot, if only the price were more reasonable. It has a very nice futuristic aesthetic with the rotating blue LED effect, it has a Jedi hand gesture for operation, indicates the temperature, humidity, and includes a particle sensor and an alert that indicates the presence of VOCs. While I am impressed by the inclusion of the latter two sensors, I didn't get a strong indication they worked reliably and couldn't trust them, as they seemed to generate false positives and readings.The second fan mode is a little noisy but not an issue in most scenarios. The first fan mode is reasonable and shouldn't be distracting when trying to focus.Unlike the other reviewer, the magnetic cupholder attachment works just fine and is a clever solution for the car.

I dont think the PM detection is working ! It always shows from 7 to 2 even in a bad environment !!

I was skeptical. For the price, it doesn't seem like it would be very good. I'm not too fond of made in china products to begin with, but when it's Chinese brand, it's worse. When you receive the package and instructions are poor and packaging is heavy with chinese lettering, it's not a good sign. It never has been.outer appearance aside, I feel that this item lacks something. I looked at top 10 list of car air purifiers before buying this and this was for some reason listed as #1. I think whoever reviewed it was just overly fascinated with gesture control. What should matter most is how well it works and durability or long years of use. It comes with a single magnetic attachment that allows you to insert it into your car's cup holder or take it off if you would prefer it in your room. That is the only piece of hardware you can take off. I wish it has ability to be cleaned. Anything that's really supposed to clean the air either will have screen filter or magnetic metal slides that attract the dust. Its inability to be opened to be cleaned either means it is merely a fan that just moves air, or it will get clogged up eventually and you will have to buy a whole new device.For purpose of Car use, I feel it may not be very good either because of its cup holder attachment. It's only held together by magnetic force.Force is NOT strong with this one. Because of its weak magnetic force, I feel it may fall over and possibly roll around on the floor by your foot, creating a dangerous hazard if you have to break hard or something hits it.I'm going to keep looking for well known brand and spend a bit more money and get quality. You get what you pay for. Most of the time.
