Lol. First off..I ordered based on the reviews of over 54,000..second I ordered based on Amazon's size recommendations..they are always spot on. Third..I've always worn shapeware..as far back as elementary..yes you read it right...I started with the leotard ballerina body suit in 5th grade.. to keep the waist snatched. When I received shareware..I was like my 44+ hips can not get in that small medium faja...yes it did..the waist was snatched..the fupa disappeared..the back fat disappeared..the breast were perky..the booty was stacked .yeah will be ordering more...o and the bands are as strong as sew in weave..it stayed in place...lol..I hope this helps for those who are thinking about ordering...even though the faja is compression...you don't feel compressed...I can breath and not feel like I'm going to pass out...

I ordered a size 4X and normally, I’m a 3X. I’m a size 18/20, 5’7, apron belly, and a long torso. From the reviews, I saw that I should size up and I’m glad I did. Actually I could’ve did 5x. The Size I got was long enough for my torso so I do appreciate that. The clips are strong And it’s snatches so well, I can barely breathe. lol . That’s kind of what I wanted as I’m used to wearing shapers so this is OK for me, but not on a day to day, Just for events. If this was a shaper I was going to be wearing daily then I would get a 5X if you’re around my size. If this is something that you need for an event, a 4X really snatches you in But you might have to lay down to clamp it up. It zips up easy

I read everyone else’s review. Several said to order a size down. I’m 5-4”, 160 lbs and just had a tummy tuck 3 mos ago for reference. I ordered a L (I wear size 10 pants now) which would be my size and not a size down. It is super tight and I almost didn’t think I would be able to zip it. I tried to use the fasteners and gave up. I couldn’t see the fasteners because of my breasts blocking my view. I finally laid down and pulled the fabric together and inched the zipper up. It took me about 5 minutes to get it fully zipped. I still need compression from my surgery so this is certainly strong and compressed. It’s not uncomfortable even this tight. It is smooth under clothing and does give a nice silhouette. I’ll wear it around and see if it stretches out some. I do like it but I would not recommend a size smaller unless you have a tiny waist.

Size M for senior woman 5'7" 165 lbs with extreme edema after 5 way heart surgery, kidney failure, and 3 brain surgeries, so body in ugly shape. Dress for son's wedding required taming buldges from severe edema and getting old. Researched a TON and appreciated reviews, which I relied on. Overnight delivery, minimal packing. As others said my first thought is no way this is gonna fit. Bottom went on easily and I lied down to close each hook as i pressed my body in, graphic but the only reason I am leaving review is to help others. In short order hooks closed, zipper easily up, straps over the shoulders, and boom badda bing, all good. Other reviews stated it did not have firm tummy control but I disagree. This garmet restored my hour glass shaped figure from pre health issues ( curvy/not thin) and seriously changed the look of the dress. Pic in garmet and dress, of an old beaten woman who took a leap of faith and this garmet delivered. True to size, well made, once on body not too uncomfortable, and did it's job beyond measure. Give it a try if you are on the fence. I was suspect, but it delivered.
