I used this wire for something other than it’s intended purpose. I have a launch PS3 that required a delid. This helped cut the silicone around the chip extremely well and with far less risk than other methods.

Worked perfect for separating Iwatch glass. It was expensive, but i needed it fast and this was the only option that had prime. Took a chance, as most people use .4 wire for screen separation but this worked absolutely perfect i see no need for anything thinner.

This line is complete junk. Snaps easily under any tension. It is overly coiled on the spool that it results in bends and kinks (as one other reviewer mentioned) in the line so that it cannot be used for any electronic components. The kinks can result in it grinding into the circuit boards. One would be better off using electric guitar string. Save the money and try something else.

I bought this to 'delid' older Playstation 3 consoles, as I'd seen people recommend molybdenum wire in console repair groups online... Unfortunately, almost as soon as I took it off the spool, it began to coil tightly like an old-school landline phone handset cord! I haven't attempted to use it under those circumstances yet, but I think it's going to take quite a bit of extra tension to smooth it out enough to keep it from causing damage, if it's possible at all.
