Love it!!! but not all are made equal - please read on for details.
I imagine if you are looking at this review you are wondering about this charger. This review will give you all the information you will need to decide. Like most of you, I was on the search for a good and inexpensive qi charger. Long story short...this is THE one you should get. I have a Nexus 5 with a Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible TPU Case for LG Nexus 5 - Retail Packaging. I also have a Nexus 7 2nd Gen tablet with a MoKo Google New Nexus 7 FHD 2nd Gen Case - Ultra Slim Lightweight Smart-shell Stand Case for Google Nexus 2 7.0 Inch 2013 Generation Android 4.3 Tablet, BLACK (With Smart Cover Auto Wake / Sleep Feature) both of which work flawlessly with this charger. It is a very small form factor. Diameter of about 2.75" and about 3/8" thick. It has a rubber ring on both sides to keep the unit from sliding around as well as keeping phone/tablet in place. It comes with two micro B usb cables. One is short (a little over 12" long) and another that is longer (about 54"). It does NOT include the power AC adapter. The unit has a small dimly lit LED that illuminates green when not being used and turns blue when it is charging. The LED is not especially bright and would therefore not be a problem if using it next to your bed. When you place your phone or tablet on the charger it makes a beep to let you know that it made correct contact. There is not really any sweet spot, in that, I can more or less randomly center my phone on the pad and it will connect. There is no measuring and trying to get it "just right". It's really not that difficult to figure out how to place a phone on the charger. The beep that it makes is not very loud at all and is nice to have a reassurance of correct contact. If I have the tv on low volume in my bedroom and I place my phone down, I sometimes can't hear the beep. The only time it beeps is when I put my phone on it for charging. It seems to be slightly slower charging than plugging the USB into my phone or tablet but I wouldn't consider it a major decline in overall charge times. I have a Nexus 5 phone and I use the included charger rated @ 1.2Amps. I think this charges at around 1 Amp. So, not a huge decline in my opinion. It's difficult to judge how much longer it takes to charge my tablet, mainly because it has a larger battery and I really don't want to waste time figuring it out. Much like I don't want to watch paint dry or grass grow.Overall, I am very pleased with this charger and I own two of them in which they both work exactly the same.Now........Here is the ugly part... Not all of these chargers are the same. The first one I ordered was a true legitimate Powerbot charger. I bought the black on black charger...Great charger and I couldn't be happier.I then ordered (what I thought) was the same charger from the same seller. I ordered the yellow on black charger thinking that "Hey, I like yellow. Let's mix it up a little." What I received was a cheap knock off of the real thing. First, it didn't come in the same packaging and nowhere did it say it was made my Powerbot. Not on the charger, not on the packaging, nowhere. The charger DID charge my devices but it was painfully slow. It did NOT beep when contact was made and while this is ok with my phone (I can see the LED) it was huge pain with the tablet. Peering under the tablet to see if contact was made and the LED changed color. Made it a total pain to figure out if the device was actually charging or not...did I mention this was incredibly slow? The LED changed from a solid color to a bright blinking light that was super annoying on my nightstand. I returned this cheap imitation the next day and ordered a legit charger.According the product listing (and I noticed this could change from hour to hour) were the different model colors that are available...black, white, red, orange, blue, etc.... The only true legitimate charger made 100% by powerbot are the black on black, the red on black and the blue on black. All others are NOT real. If your look @ the eyecandis website you will only see the 3 available colors they make. Again, all others are cheap knockoffs.

Charges Faster Than Our Other Qi Chargers!
My husband and I both have Nexus 5 phones. A few months ago we learned that our phones were capable of wireless charging. Prior to ordering this one, we had 3 other Qi wireless chargers. We each keep one on our nightstand and we have one in the kitchen. My husband decided he wanted to take one to work to keep on his desk. He searched through several Qi descriptions before settling on this one. This one is smaller than some all of the other ones. The biggest difference is the amount of time it takes to charge. This one is significantly faster at charging than the other ones we use. Our phones charge while in their phone cases. We love that we can charge our phones without having to plug in a cable and put wear and tear on our USB ports! My husband still wants to get at least one more Qi charger for his office at home.

Worked fine for about 2 months and then melted. I would have given more stars if it had just stopped working, but it melted and smelled bad. I smelling it right now. It's bad. Not fart bad, but burnt plastic bad. No smoke or fire, but that smell tho

Amazon sent me cheap, unusable knock offs
Let me start my review by saying that the ACTUAL PowerBot chargers work great for my Galaxy S5. I ordered them on Amazon when my phone stopped charging well via the charger port and it has prevented me from having to replace my phone. HOWEVER, when I went to order two more chargers to use other places using THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT LISTING on Amazon (this one right here) as referenced from my original order I received two cheap knock off chargers with less power capacity. I did not notice they weren't real PowerBots until they didn't charge my phone well and I threw away the packaging so I cannot return them. I'd like a couple more, but I do not trust Amazon to send them to me. Bigtime Amazon.com fail.

Fire hazard
When buying this charger you are running a very real risk of fire and will certainly damage your phone. This charger will charge my iPhone 6 (with Qi case) for approximately 5 min before charging stops. I assumed it was placement of the phone on the puck but when I picked up my phone, it was almost too hot to touch and the phone had shut down due to being too hot. The puck was also warm, but the apple USB wall plug was so hot I though it might melt. When not in use all these items are cool to the touch but once charging begins, they quickly over heat. I can't imagine letting this sit overnight, I truly believe it would start something on fire.

Nexus 5 & 7 approved.
I ordered two of these and am glad I did. I have a Nexus 5 in a Spigen Slim Armor case and a Nexus 7 2013 in a Devicewear Ridge case. Both charge flawlessly in their respective cases. While I check the operation each time I set the phone/tablet down on the charger, I've never had to adjust the positioning. Previously I used the Nokia DT900. I much prefer the PowerBot PB1020. The Nokia has a proprietary power chord that, if damaged or lost, leaves you with a $35 oval coaster. The PowerBot utilizes a microUSB cable (included). The PowerBot PB1020 does NOT, however, come with a USB wall adapter. Not an issue to most as by now you probably have plenty lying around. If not, they're as cheap as $4 on Amazon. Pick the size, color, etc that works for you.Like others have said, ensure you only order the REAL PowerBot units. It's pretty obvious which are legit when you compare the logo on the different colored units. For example, the black on black is genuine. The yellow ... not so much.

Cheap knock off of powerbot
What I ordered was not what I got it was not a powerbot PB 1020 it was a cheap knockoff all it said was wireless charger it did not say powerbot because it was not besides a powerbot comes with a 1 foot and a 5 foot cable this came with only one foot cable. It was a total piece of junk I've heard that the real power bots are really good but not these knock offs. From the very beginning it would not work. Had to get a refund. Will not recommend this to anyone. Now I do not know about the real powerbot I cannot say because this product was not that. It was just a very poor imitation.

Breaks easily
This product works fine, but the USB connector is simply soldered onto a circuit board with no structural reinforcement whatsoever.

Meh, Not really impressed
It's small...needs to be bigger than your phone to be convenient, can become a pain to get it to line up with the phone so it can charge.

NOT durable
I've purchased two of these. They have had issues and one has died completely. It's not been dropped, spilled on or damaged whatsoever and it's also been rarely used as I usually...

Does the fast charging quite well with 2. 1A ...
Does the fast charging quite well with 2.1A AC plug (on my Samsung Galaxy S4 at least).......It does tend to overheat a bit, so be wary & check on it while charging to be sure....
