Perfect for my kids

I purchased these prior to researching BLW feeding. More so, it was just a cute spoon that I'd be able to feed my baby and for simply that, it works great. The handle is very short and it isn't easy trying to get purees out of jars. This, however, would be perfect for parents who are trying to do BLW feeding for baby. My 5 month old is easily able to grasp the spoon and feed himself.The utensils are made with a few little nooks and crannies, which can be frustrating to clean if you've left them out with food dried on it - but after soaking or just some good scrubbing, it's easy enough!If your baby is teething, I'd be cautious to not let them chew on them. I don't think they'd last too long if that were the case.

USED FOR: 12 month old.I really like the silverware. The length is perfect for small hands and the fork prongs are aligned to make it easier for your child to pick up food. That alone makes it the perfect fork.It does not have anything to help with hitting that gag reflex but the size of handle and everything else makes up for it. As for teething the handle it rubber and your child could chew on it but that’s not something I’m trying to teach my little one, gnawing on silverware.I have about 5 different forms of silverware for my kid trying to find the right one and this was the best. Great for learning

This is the 4th set of these toddler utensils we’ve gotten, and overall, they’re great! Easy for my toddlers to use, a great size and shape for their hands, for the most part very sturdy.I say for the most part, because the metal core of the fork handle started poking through the silicon at the bottom after just 2 or 3 uses. We’ve had no issue with 2 of our other pairs, and it happened to one of our other sets after a few months, but I thought that might have been because one of our toddlers had been chewing on the handle. This time, though, it happened almost immediately when no chewing had occurred. It might just have been a manufacturing defect on the one, but that’s the reason I give these 4 stars instead of 5.

These Chewtensils are a fantastic starter set for baby-led weaning! The soft silicone is gentle on gums and safe for teething, and the chunky handles are easy for little hands to grip. My 6-month-old loves using them to explore food and practice self-feeding. The fork and spoon are both the right size for small mouths, and the built-in safety guards give me peace of mind. Easy to clean and super cute in the sage green color — a great tool for early feeding milestones!

The color is not perfect, but the price is OK
