Great choice if affordable, yet classy stainless
Bought this to use for a dinner party of 23. Nice weight and balance (aka not flimsy) classy, yet modern design and a very affordable design. Cleans well; have used both the dish washer and washed by hand. I was so pleased I checked on Amazon!

These feel so good!!
Okay I'm a total snob about flatware. I hate it when it feels cheap. I hate it when it feels flimsy. This stuff looks better than the expensive stuff I got when I got married. It feels just as solid as that stuff that was $12 a fork 20 years ago. It's well balanced. The size of the utensils are perfect in relation to your mouth. I hate tiny little forks. Tiny little bowls on spoons. These are perfect. I love how streamlined they are. Very traditional looking but also a tad bit contemporary. Love them. Buy them.

Great Quality
Nice weight, beautiful appearance. No problems with spotting or rusting. I was apprehensive due to a couple of reviews mentioning rust. I rinse and put in the dishwasher, where they may sit for a few days before turning the dishwasher on. They come out beautiful.

Elegant, good feel, practical
I'm not a silverware expert, but a couple things I learned from U-tube videos. The feel of these Mikasa silverware is nice, just heavy enough but not too heavy. The satin finish handles don't show fingerprints as do shiny ones. The 18/10 means the percentage of Chromium and nickel which give stainless their hardness and rust-proofness and 18/10 is generally the best ratio. They are well made, smooth finished edges, except knives which have a useful mild serade for cutting most items. We've been using them now for several weeks, we hand wash because mostly it's just 2 of us, though they are rated as dishwasher safe (I'll leave that aspect to other reviews). They clean easily. The 1-star deduct is that the tines on the dinner forks could be a bit wider apart to give better 'stab effect' on some food items. But I can still eat everything on my plate. Same for salad forks, but that said, still I'd recommend these to any household. A good value for quality silverware.

Good flatware
Have used for about six months now and the shine is still there. The weight is very good and the decoration is modern.
