Great product..... Terrible instructions
This is the easiest way to protect your possessions. The alarm is sensitive and loud. It mounts easily. Note: the instructions are TERRIBLE!!!

Cheap and does its job.
Works well as part of a layered security system. Combine with a disk lock alarm and a tracker.

Useful
I actually bought this for my wife to chase the black birds off her suet bird feeder. It worked great with the different tones that are available. Some of birds got used to the sounds, so then they didn't fly away, but it still annoyed them.

Tried to disable alarm, very difficult and very happy with that
Been using this for anti-theft for around a year now. Just came back from a trip and left my remote at work, but decided to risk yanking the alarm off my bike and disabling by taking out the battery. Y’all, it was DIFFICULT and LOUD and PERSISTENT. It required multiple types of screwdrivers and lots of time. I was always mildly concerned that someone would disable by taking out the batteries but YALL it was so hard. Very very happy with this product.

First impressions - good, not great
I just got this alarm. Some first impressions:==== INSTRUCTIONS ====A lot of reviewers have trouble with them. While they're grammatically a bit of a mess, you can get past this and all functions are addressed. Without very little trial and error, I was able to program the volume, sensitivity, and pair a second alarm to the same remote.==== ADJUSTABLE VOLUME ====This is a major reason I chose this KCMYTONER-branded version over others. 113 dB can be really loud, indoors especially. The three selectable levels are a good option and 'spaced' reasonably for choosing volume.HOWEVER, whichever volume you choose seems to affect all sounds, not just when the alarm is triggered. 'System sounds' when arming, disarming, and programming are at the same volume. Even the lowest volume level -- which is fairly tame for the alarm side of things -- is pretty loud for just pressing some keys on the remote. I've posted a question to see if there is anyway around this. If you're using this indoors, or If you want arming/disarming to be discrete, this is a concern. I don't want to be exposed to 113 dB every time I press a remote key.==== PAIRING ADDITIONAL REMOTES ====The programming steps are easy to either control one alarm from multiple remotes, or control multiple alarms from one remote. With the one remote / two alarms setup, it was easy to re-pair; once paired, you program two alarms at the same time and identically, which I liked. Downside: if you wanted to program the two (or more) alarms differently, you'd have to either move one out of range, or remove it's battery.....==== REMOVING THE BATTERY ====A big pain. There is no sliding battery cover, and it's not as simple as removing a screw, although there is one (and a screwdriver was included). After you remove the screw, you have to pry the housing of the alarm open, basically the way a repair technician might do when repairing a phone. Never done that kind of thing and don't have specialized plastic tools to do it? You're probably going to break something. Even if you don't, the stress this puts on the many little plastic clips that keep the housing snapped close is not good; over time they will break off. I wouldn't expect this thing to survive multiple battery changes, unless you're extremely, extremely careful. This makes it seem a bit disposable, which I'm not a fan of with any electronics, even when it's affordably priced.==== VIBRATION SENSING ====The jury is still out on this one and I'll update this review later. It is nice that the alarm has 2 levels of reacting: a short warning tone for the first 'hit,' and then a full alarm if a second hit comes within a few seconds. But, it seems that it takes more of a hit to trigger the warning, then to trigger the full alarm. Even with the highest sensitivity while testing, I had to disturb the alarm a couple of times in some cases before it 'warned,' and then barely touch it to trigger the full alarm. There also seems to be a built in delay of a few seconds between arming the alarm and having it react to the first movement (this could be by design).==== CONCLUSION ====Not a bad product, especially for the price, but I'll have to spend more time around it to decide if any of its shortcomings are deal breakers.
