Well made but not 4"
This cap is well made and seems to be very good quality steel. My one issue, it is not 4" I wanted to attach it to a 4" outside diameter vent pipe but it's inside diameter is only about 3 3/4" so it won't fit over the pipe. Other caps I have purchased which are called 4" will have a 4" inside diameter to fit on a 4"pipe. I was going to return it but then saw a 4" to 3" adapter at home depot which made it work. It involved a little extra metal work so if you want a simple put the cap on the pipe, I would look for something else if you have a 4" pipe.

Good Sturdy Vent
WE bought this to replace one of our air vents on our inground storm shelter. It was made with material much more sturdy than the original vents. The vent has my recommendation.
