I bought this for my daughter-in-law who is a school teacher. She really loved it! I don’t think I ever got her anything she loved this much. Deptartment 56 houses are so awesome! They are beautiful and very detailed. I collected them for years.

I bought this for my daughter in law’s village collection. Have a lot more to get of the bigger pieces but will hopefully eventually get them all for her.

Nice addition to the wife's "generic" Christmas village [she has pieces from Lemax and Dept 56, and some other manufacturers].Cleveland Elem School is nicely proportioned, colorful, and well made. The various elements [the banner, tree, basketball, fruit basket, etc.] are attractively done. From the photo, the icicles seem quite prominent; in real life, they are actually subtle, which is more to our liking. The school's interior is lighted from a single bulb--the very tiny multi-colored Christmas light bulbs which decorate the exterior do not light-up.Note that the school is only about 6 3/4 inches tall, so it is [obviously] not in the same scale as some other Dept 56 "A Christmas Story" pieces. We also have "Ralphie's House," for example, which is in a slightly larger scale. Still, the pieces complement each other.A very nice addition your Dept 56 "A Christmas Story" collection, or to anyone's Christmas village.

I've slowly been adding pieces to my Christmas Story Village and was so excited to receive this piece. The detail is amazing and it looks great!

I’m very pleased with the size and color of the school. It will be used as a part of the village under the Christmas tree.
